"Kick him, he doesn't have Gally"
I've ran sword on hard mode quite a bit. And I've joined a lot of games where they desperately need a swordbearer because they're all too afraid to put down their precious gjallarhorns and just try it. I've put about 800 hours into this game and have yet to drop a Gally, or even a Hunger. I'm still rocking a tracking Admonisher III. So it kinda makes me angry when I join a game and I hear "Kick him, he doesn't have Gjallarhorn.", "Nah it's okay he's running sword."
I've started immediately leaving games that pull this shit. You don't even need 1 Gjallarhorn to take down Crota. I admit, I've been in games where everyone is using one, and it makes it pretty damn easy to down him 3 times in one go. But it is absolutely not necessary. I joined a group of guys that warned me that they were gonna use nothing but Dragonsbreath to test the effectiveness vs gally and I was all for it. We killed him first try, no wipes. That's faster than most of the runs I get in with Gally elitists. I also helped out a group of friends who had freshly made 32, but none of them had any tracking rockets, or even exotic rockets. One guy only had a blue rocket. I told them we were gonna get it done, and told everybody to rock Ice Breaker. 3rd wipe in, we beat him, and 2 of them got Gally. One of the best moments I've had in this game to be honest.
Just stop being tools about a game ran by an RNG and help out the people that haven't been as lucky as you are.

3 답변I saw a post on a VOG hard mode recruitment thread that made me kind of mad. It was like this: Need one for for fresh run. Must be 31+ with maxed g-horn. If you are so bad that you need to be 31 with maxed g-horn, you shouldn't be raiding. Getting g-horn is 100% luck (unless you bought it from xur) and shouldn't be a required item. People freaking worship the gun like a god. They're all elitist who use at a crutch. When people get it they brag and think that they're better than you just because RNG shined a light on them. If you need a whole team of g-horns to take down Crota on hard, you're not good. A whole team using HOC will take him down the same way and will allow you to use red death. I don't want xur to sell this gun because I'd like to get as a drop. But if it would make all of you elitist morons out there shut up about g-horn being a requirement, I'd be absolutely fine with it. If you require a player to have g-horn for someone to play, you're a scrub.

1 답변My only raid or PoE requirement is to tell me- tell me if you are inexperienced, if you've only done from gorgons on, only done normal. Tell me if you've had the game two weeks and have armour for light but no weapons. Tell me if you've never run sword before and want to try. Or relic. That's all I ever ask. I've carried friends, but inly if they are participating and learning.

honestly... if everyone in a team has gjally against crota... theyre wasting rockets... it takes 3 maybe 4 gjally rockets to down him... after that its overkill and wasting rockets... that said... my clan has been blessed by RNGesus and we all have one... but we dont even have to have everyone shoot at crota... two will nuke swordbearer and distract boomers and 4 will down crota... and shit we dont even always use gjally... its a great gun... but elitists need to grow up... watch a youtube video of a "crota challenge" people down him with NLB for christs sake! we went in and tryed the all primary approach... 2 sworded him on hard... nuff said

My requirements for raid: 1. Must meet minimum level to enter (some exceptions) 2. Must have a weapon that will do some kind of damage. 3. Must be willing to be quiet and listen. 4. Must have fun. Dying happens, frustration happens. 5. Be prepared to be patient with others. I am willing to teach what I know and expect some failure. However I won't cut folks out just because they lack a certain weapon. I remember (and sometimes still feel) being new, or not having a certain weapon.

A few days ago i had to take a group of complete vault of glass noobs. They were all 34. It took us 20 minutes to get past the door. The confluxes were easy, just explained them like a prevent vex sacrifices public event. Oracles? What are those? That explanation took a long damn time with several wipes. Then we get to templar. At first some squeaker (i don't mind helping but it drains my patience) starts shrieking "I WANT TO USE THE RELIC" so i let him. He dies almost immediately. And i pick up the relic, start blasting away the harpies (revive the moron) and tell them i am about to drop the templars shield. The exact quote from one of them, "uhh i am out of gjallerhorn rockets... I though you dropped his shield with damage?" As soon as i drop the shield i see the last guardian standing sign pop up. They had all fired rockets and the ONE guy who had the shield, was in front of all of them. I soloed templar from there while they could only watch. I got down to the exotic chest waited for them, grabbed it and left. Gorgons would have been too freaking difficult.

I've killed crota with a team that consisted of 2 32's, 2 31's and a 30. We had 2 gallys and a HoC to drop him and dropped easily. in my experience if you have 2 gallys already then it doesn't matter what anyone else has. We nearly beat him last night with just 1 gally and 1 HoC to drop him but after doing the deathsinger cp all 4 of us had already gotten all our rewards from crota and didn't see the point in carrying on after a couple of wipes.

1 답변rocking 700 hours of game time and i have no Gally however i do have hunger, but who really cares what weapons you have. AS LONG AS you are the correct level (however i did carry a 27 up to crota on normal before) i dont care what weapons you have. Anyone who says "this guy doesn't have Ice Breaker or Gally" is lacking any skill in this game (go ahead spam me you ass holes because you got gally out of pure RNG, not by playing 80 Crota's Ends). However, i hope there are some people that have Gally and will not care what other people use. Sure you can say "maybe use Red Death instead of mida" or "run Ice Breaker instead of bad juju" but dont kick them because they dont have everything that you do. And of course i people are assholes and not pulling their weight (e.g going afk in the middle of the crota encounter). In summary, Congrats to anyone who says "i dont care what weapons you bring" and gets gally. P.S QUIT THIS GAME to anyone who says you need a team of gally's to down crota on hard.

6 답변Unfortunately, those of us without gally or who haven't been able to get in a good team to beat Crota yet get excluded more often than not. Thankfully I found someone last night who is gonna help me out and show me the ropes, because I've been kicked or not even allowed to join more times than I can count.
