Should Xur sell Gjallahorn?
Leave your opinion if Xur should sell it and why/why not.
-Edit: You can also comment what you want/don't want Xur to sell and why/why not.
Positives:
- All guardians won't complain about not having it
- All guardians can feel the pure awesomeness the weapon brings when you are holding it.
- All guardians will like each other ("No Ghorn? Then ur getting kicked")
- Fun will return to the game (for a while)
- Grimoire score
Negatives:
- Weapon loses uniqueness
- It might get nerfed
- After everyone gets it, no one will like it after a month of playing (maybe)
- PvP might get slightly annoying due to the constant use of Ghorns (noobs or people who never had it before will most likely do this)
- After achieving and using for a while, motivation towards the game may be lost
-Gjallahorn reactions will no longer happen (so sad)
What do you think? I will make a video, so I want to here from the community. To be honest, the negatives aren't that bad...
Edit: This topic may die but please check out my new story idea 'Survivors' and my game mode idea 'Abandoned'.

1 답변I love this collective emotion the forums have evolved into. Like how other people base their happiness and enjoyment of the game on whether or not random players they'll probably never encounter have weapons that those players would like to have, even though it would most likely never impact these player's experience in the slightest. Makes me sad.

It wont break the game...It didn't break the game when Xur sold Suros(prenerf, but really it didn't get nerfed, All autos did) or icebreaker(nvr got nerfed) It wont Hurt PVP(Truth could be argued to be a better pvp Rocket launcher than Ghorn, ALSO limited Heavy Ammo in PVP means most slot an exotic primary or secondary weapon). Arguments over who "earned" anything in Destiny are pointless. In RNG System loot distribution is completely random. For every person who has grinded 100;s of hours before finally getting Ghorn or other coveted exotic there is another person who just lvld into their 20's and got exotics, perhaps without even running a raid or Nightfall. Also there are even those who can walk away from their consoles in mid PVP map or Strike and come back and poof they got an exotic for sitting under a tree or behind a rock for an entire strike, pvp or raid boss. So which one "earned it?! The answer none of them...The Exotics were given out completely randomly base none whatsoever on skill or time played, kills earned etc. All that being said ANy exotic in the hands of anyone or everyone wont break the game. They have all been play tested many times over and some got nerfed or buffed accordingly to the way the individual weapon performed. But the group will always only be as good as its weakest players and the teamwork they use to get through any of the content this game has to offer. No matter what gun they all may wield.

1 답변Selling the gjallahorn will not break the game. I know everyone has heard both sides of this topic, but it will not break the game. In fact this probably will help people do all the raids and strikes easier. This won't affect crucible at all either. Whenever xur has sold an over powered weapon, it has always calmed down in three days or less. Selling the gjallahorn might actually bring some people back to the game, which is always a good thing. If he sold the gjallahorn, then I would do a lot more raids with my acttual friends, instead of relying on lfg. It's good to meet new people but I have friends for a reason. The reason is to play with them and have a good laugh. I'll admit, the gjallahorn is over powered. But it serves more of a purpose in pve. Think about all the times you have looked at your groups for crota. Count the amount of people who need people with it. If he sells it, then the needs will be fulfilled. All in all, the gjallahorn is a useful weapon that everyone should have. Thank you for reading.

I voted "no", not because I don't want my fellow guardians to have this awesome weapon, but because I take joy in the rage that comes from one of my friends when I get the second or third drop of an exotic he has yet to get. Gjallarhorn being one of them. It is an in joke withing my small group that this guy still hasn't gotten Gjallarhorn or Vex Mythoclast, while we all have more than one of each. So purely for personal reasons I voted "no". I am aware that I am kind of a d1ck.

I think it should be sold just because people are excluding others from doing the hard raid if you don't have it and haven't gotten lucky to have hunger of crota drop. It's not fair so I think everyone should have it. Also if people saying they will NERF it should consider that bungie could always buff the bosses in the strikes and raids to have more HP. Then you wouldn't be taking less time to kill bosses. More actually. That's my 2 cents

1 답변I don't think so. A lot of people would whine and cry in rage, it'd be annoying. And rom what I've heard, 'earning' it is the best experience. Or something. I just feel a HoC could do the job almost as efficiently.

2 답변Gjallarhorn is the only exotic I want right now! if xûr does sell it, I hope he sells it for more than 100+ strange coins. If he sells it for 17 or 23 strange coins, everyone will have it and that will break the game
