Tips for a n00b...?
Hey guys, I finally jumped into Destiny last week and have been getting acquainted with the terms, game modes, etc.
Are there any tips for a new player that could help shape my journey? Weapons to pick up? Upgrades to start with? It's seriously overwhelming. So many currencies, coin, reps.
Thanks guys. I love this game, even at my lowly Level 7 :)

1. When turning in bounties and you just what to level a certain item,make sure the rest of your items can't be leveled any more two. 2. Use telemtries when turning in bounties( especially after doing the nightfall) 3. Match weapon elemental damage to enemy shields. 4.don't shoot rockets in any bubble! 5.don't ruin anyone's farming 6.have fun

Every time you see spinmetal on earth, helium coils on the moon, spirit blooms on Venus, and relic iron on Mars pick it up. You can sometimes here a little but of a chime noise when you're near it. It will come in handy down the road, though since they made these materials obtainable with marks it's not as important but nothing wrong with stocking up early.

Don't forget to check out xander 99-40 for bounties before doing any missions for the day. They're a great way to level up your character and gear. Try to keep ones that go along with whatever mode you're playing. If you're playing mainly story or strikes then don't load up on crucible bounties and vice versa.

1 답변Some stuff any destiny player has to know. Never let anyone share play on your characters If you get Gjallerhorn then DO NOT DISMANTLE IT. RNG will be RNG and RNG sucks Don't join in another persons fireteam at the end of a strike. They will boot you and you will get no rewards The loot cave at the sky watch no longer works You no longer can push atheon off the edge Crota cannot be stuck kneeling Don't always cheese raids. Doing them legit is super fun and a welcome challenge. You may cheese raids after you have completed them at least once. Although I don't recommend it. Worship ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). NOT OPTIONAL Xur always sells No Land Beyond Hate the Cryptarch There is no story in Destiny. At least without reading the grimore.

2 답변Do the story on hard mode. After a few missions, you will find that the missions' difficulty will start exceeding your own level (you're lvl 12 and the mission is lvl 14). At that point, go do 5-6 bounties. When you turn them in, you'll gain ~2 levels immediately. Then restart the missions again. Don't bother upgrading weapons or armor. You will be getting something better on the next mission anyway. Save your glimmer and consumables. When you hit 25,000 glimmer, save the things you collect that give glimmer (house banners, for instance) in your inventory (vault) for when you get higher. You WILL need that glimmer. As soon as you can start doing strikes, nightfalls, etc., do them. My daily routine is to do a public event, do the daily heroic, and do a few bounties. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it's nightfall and weekly heroic. Then, I usually do 3-4 raids per week. Once you start being able to buy stuff from Xur, buy for your primary player first. Then, if you have extra coins, buy things for your alternate characters. Raids - as soon as you can, start doing them. I spent a LOT of time buying armor from the Vanguard rep and leveling it. But, it only gets you light lvl 33 armor. Then, you realize you need light lvl 36 gear. So, all your 33 stuff that you spent so much time with gets relegated to the trash. I've just started leveling my 2nd character after 4 months of playing. But, once he gets to lvl 20 (it'll take about 10-12 hours of missions and bounties to get him there), you can instantly move him from lvl 20 to lvl 30 by equipping the armor you got from your primary.

do not call yourself 'n00b' ;) 1. finish story 2. get yourself a solid 300 attack primary (any you like using, can be a Handcannon, a Scout rifle, ANYthing) - and MAX it 3. get yourslef some gear with as much Light as possible - and MAX it 4. find a few friends (or use [url=http://www.destinylfg.com/]LFG[/url] if need be) and do the Vault of Glass - first Raid, only lvl26 needed to enter 5. do Nightfall/Weekly 6. rinse and repeat every week until you reach level high enough for Crota's End (30 for Normal, could be done witha 29, i wouldn't recommend going any lower) ...if you ever get a PS4, you can let me know and i'll gladly take you through Nightfalls, Weeklys as well as both Raids ;)

1 답변Complete the story. Do your daily bounties, awesome for leveling weapons, armor, and straight leveling your level. After level 20 go and do the Strike Playlist. Equip the better items (weapons and armor) as you receive them. Level the armor to get higher light level, when you are higher light level do the harder strikes. Strike Playlist is key to getting better stuff.

As everyone said, go get bounties daily as just playing the game will add toward a lot of the bounties (such as melee kill 30 xxx). These bounties give experience when turned in that rank you up very fast. One thing I didn't see that you should work toward is try to find a public event each day - during patrol (use Destiny Timer) - your first gold public event for each day will give you a postmaster item that is either Ascendant material or mode of light (sometimes strange coin). All of these will be important as you get to higher ranks and better gear.

Save your Strange Coins. Get to work on the Weekly and Daily missions as soon as you can. Also, choose a faction you want now. If you don't want to rely on PvP for purchasing your gear, stick with basic Vanguard. It's what I did from day one, I just picked a faction the other day. And, if you happen to have armor drop for a character you don't have, stash it in the Vault. It's what I did, and as soon as my Warlock hits level 20, I'll be able to equip a Legendary or Exotic armor in every slot.

One subtle thing I didn't realize for a long time was be sure to have weapons equipped that you are leveling up when you turn in bounties, check mail, see the cryptarch- everything. That's when they get the biggest boost. And check your gear after every bounty turned in- something may have maxed out and you can switch in a different weapon that needs leveling up. It used to be more mysterious because it would only show upgrades when you went back into orbit, but at least now it shows right after you leave the vendor.

1 답변작성자: Rylor Threev 3/8/2015 6:08:49 PMThe only thing I can tell you is don't waste your time in the crucible, all the other things you can do, I could do a list but it's a lot of things, I will try make it shorter: get level 20, level up the vanguard to rank 3 get legendary armor and weapons, how to get vanguard rank 3: bounties, patrol missions and strikes, how to get vanguard marks: strikes and public events, how to get vanguard comendation, level up to rank 3, after rank 3 every time you rank up you get another comendation, also I use the 360, if you need help just ask

7 and you have had it for a week? Dude this isn't like most games. You will get nowhere if you don't invest A LOT of hours into it. Everything is a grind, literally, EVERYTHING. Pick up some bounties and continue through the story. Hop into Crucible to complete some bounties and also to help towards leveling up. When you reach rank 20 join a faction of your choice that will provide you with rewards as you level up and you can buy items with marks. There is a lot of information, but most importantly you need to invest as much time as you possibly can.

작성자: Straight Fish 3/8/2015 9:44:40 PMScouts, snipers, rocket launchers, and hand cannons are good for pve AR's, shotguns, and LMG's are good for PVP Pulse rifles, fusion rifles are an inbetween, good for both modes. Gjarllarhorn and IB are the only exotics that matter Xur likes disappointing people. Rahool is a dickbag. Heavy ammo synthesis are your friends. That wizard came from the moon. I don't have time to explain why I don't have time explain the rest. If you're on ps3 I'll be more than happy to help you with anything. That goes for anyone else.

3 답변The one single absolutely pro tip I can offer you, is that if you acquire this Exotic weapon called "Gjallarhorn" you need to dismantle it immediately. It's a total waste of an exotic slot. [spoiler]seriously... this totally isn't a joke or anything and should be listened to 100%....[/spoiler]
