Should raid bounties be a thing?
I think there should be raid bounties. For VoG you'd pick 'em up from the vanguard mentors, and for CE, you'd pick 'em up from eris. Some ideas are:
-as a fireteam, create 100 orbs of light in a single raid.
-kill atheon/crota in normal/hard mode
-complete a raid checkpoint without dying
-as a fireteam, have all guardians complete checkpoint X without dying.
-complete checkpoint X in under X amount of time.
-kill the templar without him teleporting/kill the deathsinger before she begins her liturgy
-kill atheon/crota in less than X sword/teleport cycles

Edit: since these bounties would be for raids, they'd be worth more more XP and rep than the other bounties
Edit 2: some people have brought up good points about players going out of their way to complete bounties therefore possibly hurting the team. I can see how that would be a problem so perhaps the bounties could be things that wouldnt require you to 'go out of your way' to get or grind for...

After having done Vog and Crota about 90 times combined it would make it interesting again to have some sort of objective to do. Cause at this point I'm just blowing through raids just because, or to helps friends and it gets old. Also this could be a great alternative to getting some of those rare raid weapons. I've raided with some people who have been playing since day one done the raid 3 times a week and have yet to get a fate bringer. This could also give the vanguards a use again (because really, Most people don't buy armor from them anymore.). Cayde-6 could be the one that passes out the VoG bounties since he's the one that initially attempted it. the team could agree to complete an especially difficulty bounty together. Then When they turn in the bounty to Cayde-6 it could be a roll with a chance to get a huge amount of glimmer/rare material/rare gun/or anything else of value. [b][/b]

1 답변Bounties are for earning specific reputation somewhere. Raid rewards are all earned just from completing the Raid. This idea is dumb.

3 답변No! Well at least you shouldn't be able to get the bounties for free like u can vanguards or crucible. If u could get em for free raids would have [u]way[/u] to many rewards that means you could grind rep, xp, and raid weapons all at once [spoiler]thats spells op[/spoiler]

I'd say just make them Target bounties on Raid bosses. Bounties like TARGET: Atheon, Crota, Templar, or Ir Yut would be a nice addition, and more fitting for the kinds of things the Vanguard should be sending high-level Guardians out to take care of. Sending us out after the low-tier bosses is like using a bulldozer to kill a roach. A few considerations: 1. You can only get each bounty once per week 2. You have to finish the relevant raid, or it doesn't count. 3. You can start from a checkpoint 4. Raid bounties would be worth at least 3x what a standard bounty is worth to reflect how important these targets are. 5. Unlike other Target bounties, the Heroic modifier is not required. If we're going to run the raids each week anyway, which would involve killing said targets, we might as well get some extra rep and XP for it.
