I do the same thing you do, i help people all week and even look for people on the forums who need help and offer assistance. As rng is what it is not everyone is lucky enough to get a random drop on a gjallahorn or any other exotic for that matter so why not help out someone who appreciate it. i have helped multiple people through raids, nightfalls, and strikes and watched them get the elusive weapons they deserve. Keep up the good work. This is probably one of the best posts i have seen this week.

Don't make fun of 31s. I did hard crota with a bunch of 32s who kept insulting me because I have been too unlucky to land the chest armor to become 32. I kept going until after deathsinger, we had problems for a while (not due to me) and eventually got it. I was the only survivor, and some guy made a comment saying he can't believe only a stupid noob 31 survived. So, I had enough, killed myself with a rocket, apologized sarcastically for doing that saying I was just a noob 31 and left before they got the checkpoint. They are still trying to pass it it seems. Oh well :)

I let levels of all kind enter my raid groups. As long as the game lets you in, I do. I don't mind putting in extra backpacking. It's all part of the game.

I hosted my first raid the other day and even tho I had no idea I still welcomed scrubs! and I'm a lvl 29 warlock. TAKE THAT ENLISTS!

This guy was trying to talk down to me because he was 32 on Crota hard. Blaming me for not doing enough damage to Crota and yet I was the only one out of 5 people shooting two rockets at a time. I told him to stfu and stop being a little bitch and fire two rockets instead of one. The same guy was bitching because I was doing the heavy ammo exploit and yet it didn't even take me that long, we never had to wait on me because I was already on the plate firing my NLB. He said Xûr has been selling Heavy synths for weeks and I had no excuse for doing it. Again I told him to stfu because I wasn't wasting anyone's time because I was already on the plate firing and if I need to use a synth I'll use it but I'm not waiting 5 minutes if I don't have to because you're so cheap to fire an extra rocket or even use your gun after the first rocket. Never heard a peep from him again until the raid was over. The group must've been salty because I got Ghallarhorn from death singer, my third one I might add. Not saying you need this weapon for crota but it definitely comes in handy when you're "lacking firepower", but that's not the point. The point is some 32's think they are so good and yet they can't even carry themselves. I mean you don't even need to be 32 to down Crota on hard hahaha.

If we grinded our a$$3$ off to get to the best lvl to do a raid why in the seven hells should we be pressed to help someone that is under geared and under level? I can't hit 32 because I get all the energies on my account and my gf gets all the shards on hers... Fml.

It actually is becoming more frequent that a group asks for 32's only and half or more haven't even run HM before. It's evident when you hit the ledge and 3-4 of the guys start killing boomers. Or any of the other tell tale signs like killing knights, not knowing where to go or what to do at what time. I actually took a group of newbs (only 2 of us were experienced) through VOG last week. A couple 30's, a 28, and a 32 (this guy was pathetically clueless) which was surprising he had never ran it. It was fun, minimal wipes once the group understood what to do, lots of explaining and patience. At Atheon we wiped 5 times total. Not bad. I'm so bored on destiny, at this point I welcome the challenge of a newb fire team in raids.
