Worst Melee, our armor almost makes no difference, no agility, low recovery.
We are basically only good for raids and strikes using defenders and once in a blue moon taking out a team capping a point with FOH
I don't know what Bungie where thinking making us man, I try to understand it but just can't. Scorch is what Force Barrier should be but we can't even have THAT.

Edit: if we are so balanced how come we are the least played class?
I remember reading somewhere Titans are like 20-25 percent of the player base, don't quote me on that tho
Edit 200+ replies! look moma I made it :D
This thread started as a rant so take my complaints with a grain of salt ;)

Defender is useful in higher level pve, however in crucible everything we have is pretty useless except shoulder charge, which is a bit of a gimmick anyways. And yeah, fist of havoc can be a panic button, but overall almost every other super will be more effective. Defenders get the worst super in pvp, because the bubble loses to all other supers (which makes no sense)

Actually, Titans are a pretty solid class. I was running Omnigul yesterday with a Sunsinger and Defender, and between the two of us Sunsingers he could keep his shield up giving us the most needed cover where there was none, along with the blinding helmet and blessings of light.

Well in crucible were completely -blam!-ed because our best ability is armour and crucible evens all our armour out. As for recovery you can spec it so we have the 2nd best you just have to sacrifice agility. But yea I do think titans could use some love in pve and pvp. Seriously how does the super soldier have the worst melee

Dude, Ugh... Titans have the best jump (has the best control). Scorch shield on warlock is a perk, just like the recharging force barrier for the Titan (or speed reload or orb making). Also stats like Armor, recovery, and agility can be interchangeable. Shoulder charge in crucible is easy to use when you know how it works (but also can be countered). Our Bubble super is the only support super (warlock can be supportive with sunsinger, but more often choose self-res or damage reduction, which is understandable) and fist of havoc is a OHK in crucible (like other supers) and we get our super back if we die when attempting it. And I haven't even started on some of our amazing exotic armor pieces. Titan is my favorite class. I just made a hunter though so groups can let me sword bearer on Crota hard (I've done it once on the hard release, but have just been on bubble duty of boomers since). Saying Titans are underpowered shows how much you don't know about Titans. Saying they are only good in Raids and Strikes (the endgame PvE content) says a lot about you as a player.

I main a hunter; but have more fun running a defender Titan with Saint-14. I got it two weeks before Xur sold it and it totally changed the way I played the class. Just drop it on enemy spawn points and have yourself a punching party in the bubble. They're also amazing for raids.

I think people just don't like Titans because they don't know how to use them. Personally I bond with warlocks (no pun intended) but my Titan is easily over powering in crucible. If you miss the shoulder charge, shot gun them. Or flash bang them and then shotgun them. Or just shotgun them. I think whoever says a class is worse than another just doesn't know how to play with every class

Bubble with perks, Helm of Saint-14 and Force Barrier to reload AND give an over shield! Also, Magnet Grenade = Best Titan Grenade. PvE wise, I say the Hunter is the most underpowered even though it is my favourite. That golden gun is like a pee shooter and the jump can be crappy at times :(
