is hard light good?
I recently got it for doing the nightfall and I'm not sure how powerful it is? What should I use it for? Crucible Or Story?

For pvp [spoiler]Depends somewhat in your skill. The rounds ricochet so you can kinda shoot at that annoying opponent who hides to regain health. And glass half full with 40 in the mag you can waste 20 for extra damage.[/spoiler] For pve [spoiler]same except no need to waste the first half of your clip. It's really fun and extra useful if you have problems with enemies running away behind cover. Shoot them while you're in cover or while they're in cover (if a wall is there) [/spoiler]

It's effectively unusable without the stability perk so don't bother. Level it by equipping it and turning in bounties until you have that then use it. It does well in PvP on maps like firebase delphi where people tend to crowd on zone B. Over penetrate means you can find yourself dropping 2 people at once. In truth I'm not a fan of any high rof low impact autos, but I find this one fun enough.
