It's sad to see a 5th grader has more balls & intelligence than the Kermit supporters.

Voluntary action by the kid. He had it coming. Not letting strangers access your shit is the first rule to abide by when on the internet.

He tried to cheat. He got what he deserves

He let someone do this who he thought he could trust. The adult befriended him and tantalized him with stories of easy rewards, don't blame a child for not being a cynical cold human being who only see's cruelty in other humans. Kermit was the true monster in this scenario. Not only did he delete characters in this child's game but he also chipped away at this kids ability to trust and probably a little bit of his feelings towards humanity. Kermit is disgusting. Don't go spouting off about cheating or him being underage either, should everyone who ever cheesed a raid or nightfall have their characters deleted too? Did you never sneak off to a friends house to play games like Mortal Kombat when you were younger?

Not supporting Kirmit nor do I feel bad for the kid at all. I mean you should've just played the game like everyone else. And he had a lvl 31 with a Hawkmoon how is that not enough? He was greedy and even second guessed Kirmit saying "well don't I need legendary armor?". Now idgaf if he cried or not, Bungie shouldn't be rewarding him. He got taught a very valuable life lesson in a safe environment . Better he lose meaningless items in a video game rather his real life possessions, money, or identity. Only reason this is a situation is because he's 11 and cried. If it was some teenager or adult this wouldn't even be a thing.

I think it's funny. Kid tried to cheat and he paid for it. It's a life lesson. Don't trust strangers and don't cheat.

For every heartless "gamer" in this community, you might need to watch the video again. He wasn't trying to cheat. Kids want to be cool. They look up to older kids and adults. He was trying to make a video. If you noticed he was sending messages that he was streaming. Something I'm sure he could show his friends and feel proud of. Now when someone comes along and tells him about a leveling glitch, that's like giving a fat kid the key to the candy store. He wasn't actively seeking levels. But if he had more levels he would have something to show off to his friends. We were all young. We all had priorities and sentiment vested into things that now seem pointless. Obviously technology has surpassed my youth but say I cane to your house and deleted you nes legend of Zelda character. The one that took you months. You were nearly complete with the game and now its gone. Its the same concept. In my eyes the kid didn't break any rules. Every last one of you, myself included has taken a short cut or found a means to beat a game. Kirmit played the devils advocate. Dangled temptation in front of him and took a child's trust and shit on it. Now I could give a -blam!- what anyone here thinks of me. I was bullied and picked on. Now that I'm grown up and no longer bullied I still have scars from it. What kirmit did to him will forever leave a bitter taste in his mind. It easily could cause personality flaws and let's face it. We all have them and they derive from experience. Now if the poor kid crying and sobbing didn't pull at your sympathetic, or apathetic emotions, you're inhuman. No one deserves to have their work and accomplishments erased. Hell if I work on something for work and my boss just smashed it, I would be in jail for beating his ass. Kirmit could have pointed out to him that he had the ability and educated the lesson to him. But he didn't. He did the douche move and wiped his characters. That's bullshit and pathetic. I for one hope he gets the woman of his dreams and finds her in bed with his father. A lot of gamers are turning to bullies. Where has the community gone that helped each other and offered only the best intentions? The internet has quickly become a tool used to damage people. Its sad. Whatever though right? It is just a game. SMH. To a kid, its probably more than that. Try and keep that in mind. He doesn't have a job to focus on and it was obviously important to him.

He is 11. He should not have destiny, or a twitch account. He made a stupid decision to give a random person his account, and the random person erased his 2-3 weeks worth of work(he had a single level 31). He lost his characters trying to cheat, and Bungie goes and [i]rewards[/i] him? That kid got what he deserved.

Shareplay when you pass the controller ALL you have to do is press ps button and you get control back stoping any activity! I've done this goofing with my son loads times it's all fake or pure streaming hype grabbing

Kids shouldn't be playing this game anyways...
