Let's get something straight. What KirmitTHEfrog did was a real jerk move. Many responses fall into the "the kid was trying to cheat, he deserved it" department. I wonder how many of the people who are saying this have also cheesed Crota? Or pushed Atheon off. Or de-spawned all of the thrall and cheesed the bridge in CE ...
And so what if the kid was trying to use an exploit to level a character? Allow me to apply a common pro-cheesing argument: how does it affect you? You play the game the way you want. If the kid is cheating, how does that affect anyone else?
Finally, I'm actually surprised at the kid's reaction. He basically said "yeah, I got trolled, I learned my lesson, please don't be disrespectful to me". Pretty mature of the kid, far more mature than most of the tantrums adults on these forums throw when Xur doesn't sell heavy ammo. And I would wager that if a bunch of cheesers got banned they would throw colossal tantrums. Probably the same cheesers who are saying "the kid deserves it".

Its not about glitching . Its more of you were glitching and "punished" for it. Its fine to be upset about it but to expect sympathy is ridiculous. I dont care if you use glitches to gain an advantage but be prepared to deal with the consequences. Also this shit is becoming a thing now. I had a guy join my party chat and ask if i wanted to use this glitch on another psn account to get free games. Same concept involving share play. I told him no and he was offended and cried off saying something like, fine ill just give it to someone else.

3 답변And another fact. He's 11! How can you expect him to have some kind of integrity where adults still struggle with theirs. It just makes me sick.

1 답변I completely agree with the op. I am however reminded of halo 3 loading screen messages: "Don't fall prey to sleazy online jerks, bungie will never ask you to reveal your password" And: "Your password will not earn you recon"

1 답변I learned this lesson the hard way too when I was younger. It was OG Runescape, a simpler time, but full of dirty trolls none the less. This player had a great gig going, he was "doubling" the gold people were giving him. And it seemed legit. Everyone at Varrock was doing it, and they all were thanking him graciously. Or so it seemed, now I'm not sure if these were people part of the scam or he was just waiting to pull a large enough heist to make up for what he was actually giving out to people. I was tentative at first, gave him a small amount of my gold, and he doubled it, I did another test, this time with more gold, once again, doubled. By this time I was thinking, wow this guy is genuinely interested in helping people. So this next time, I gave him ALL the gold I owned, which was a f*ck ton, like shit man, it was a lot of f*cking runescape gold at the time. And sitting there, with a twinkle in my eye, I watched with horror, as that f*cking dick starts sprinting his giggling ass away. Devastated, I follow him, screaming, shouting at him in chat. He logs out. along with all my hard earned gold. I raged, vowed never to play again blah blah. BUT, I learned a valuable lesson, don't cry..., don't feel sorry for yourself..., learn from your mistakes... And I did. I became that doubling douchebag, I began running my own scams on naive victims, and I made more gold doing so than I ever had before. If you can't beat them, join them. I thank that evil genius.

6 답변작성자: ParaRescueUnit 2/20/2015 4:45:38 AMIn light of the situation, I do feel bad for the kid. I watched all 17 mins of the video and he responded to kermit respectfully. He didn't go off, he didn't insult him or anything. He respectfully said, I didn't need that plan c anyway. Left the party and THEN he did his do by letting out emotions. He didn't let the other person hear or experience it because that would mean kermit won. I salute the young man for handling the situation petty well for his age. He's learned from his mistake and I'm sure....he won't be using share play again. People like kermit are a plague to the community, id rather here about people whining about how xur won't sell the Gally or heavy synth. But hearing about gamers like Kermit? No way....plague. And people should treat him like a plague. Some people will worship him as a "Hero" but you tricked a child into thinking you could save him some time. You didn't achieve anything from the situation besides now the whole bungie community sees you as a d bag and a phisher.

1 답변작성자: Whatbroke 2/20/2015 8:59:16 AMJust gonna slip this in... Bnet is battle.net aka Starcraft, not bungie.net (google it). I'll be damned if I'm going to let confusion trash the good name of the bnet community.
