Troll Deletes Kids account and Characters. Lets help find this person and put them on blast
Watch the video. Kid let someone online share play on his account to level up faster. Kid was naive. But this Troll proceeded to delete this kids highest Characters and then some of his exotics. This was a grown adult doing this to this kid.
I think this was incredibly crappy. Along the same lines a swatting someone. Lets spread the word so hopefully Bungie can help. And we find who this troll was and give them some Karma

Live and learn then move on. Kid messed up and should learn from it. If people wanna give access to their accounts to a complete stranger for any reason then that's their fault and nobody else's. Kermit did something douchey but nothing illegal. MOVE ON PEOPLE!!!!

The 'kid' is at fault here. He was stupid enough to believe a complete stranger could help him get to a higher level illegitimately, and paid the price for his actions. This happens in other MMO's, people. Anyways.. while i do believe some sort of action should be taken against this 'Kirmit' person (being banned from Destiny would be an idea), I highly doubt that the kid will be compensated for his loss.

Yes, you can use Share Play with Destiny. If you Share Play with someone, the viewer in control of your game has access to your gear, items, and character. This can result in dire consequences. Please note, Bungie cannot recover deleted characters, items, and gear. Please exercise caution when using Share Play with strangers.

Both bungie and Sony should ban the person who deleted this kids stuff.its amazing.they should also restore the kids characters. I think an example should be made with that guy who deleted the characters that way people Will think twice before being douchebags. I am really amazed that the destiny community is stepping up to help this young child by inviting him to raid and get him back on track. To those guardians, I salute you! Trying to cheat or not isn't really the point here. If the guy did what he did because the kid was trying to cheat he's stupid. He could have simply refused to help or lectured the kid. Instead he took it upon himself to instil suffering and pain upon the kid for self pleasure. That's sick. And even as sick and twisted as the attitude was, it's still not the core of this. Kid learned a valuable lesson but I hope Bungie did too. For a game that focus on loot, collecting and what not, it's ridiculous that deleting a character or an item is so easy, so permanent. Shouldn't be not have I played a game where it was so easy to delete a character. Or a valuable item. Kid learned a lesson. Hope all kids that play this game learned the same lesson by proxy. People in games suck because they can only get some self worth by taking advantage of little kids like this guy did. Moronic and stupid to endorse the action he took, regardless of the meaning and context of it. The action is still foul and putrid.
