Watch the video. Kid let someone online share play on his account to level up faster. Kid was naive. But this Troll proceeded to delete this kids highest Characters and then some of his exotics. This was a grown adult doing this to this kid.
I think this was incredibly crappy. Along the same lines a swatting someone. Lets spread the word so hopefully Bungie can help. And we find who this troll was and give them some Karma
Thanks guys

I do not support either party in the matter. Kermit's behavior was what I would call Bad Form to the fullest. On the other hand we have an 11 year old kid who is still young and ignorant to the way the world can potentially work and decides to put his trust in a complete stranger. The results were, quite frankly, as I expected before they even happened. So what do we have? Cause and Effect. Now just to be sure we are clear on what really happened from a psychological point of view, I will elaborate. The cause in this situation was a stranger deleting a young boys character profiles. Devastated by the matter at hand this will effect the young boy in a manner that teaches him not too trust strangers and life will go on. Unfortunately, a catalyst interfered and altered what may have been potentially strong personal growth for the young boy. A few restless nights for a young mind thinking about ones own actions in which they decided they would try to cheat a system with rules but ended up getting burned can create an amazing mind set. But this time around in what I as an adult consider small and insignificant but to a child tremendous (I.E. losing ones game characters), Bungie decided to step in and create a subconscious thought that implies that when you screw up, we will be there to help you. Now the young man is gloating about how his bad behavior is being rewarded instead of punished (Which was what initially happened)

Edit: I have Rekt the OP Edit: Everyone defending the kid are probably the same people that think everyone should get a trophy/medal for participating. That's why the new generation are sissies. No hard lessons are taught.

작성자: SlipStrikeX 2/24/2015 4:51:10 AMI'm not even going to start talking about the topic at hand, because its way over hyped as it is. What I am going to comment on is your swatting comparison. If you honestly believe that its "along the same lines as swatting" then you're either an idiot or have no idea what swatting even is. Losing game progress =\= getting your door kicked in by a full swat team, screaming at you to get on the floor at gunpoint. Try to think harder before you make dumb comparisons. Edit- I'm going to just say this though. I didn't see a huge community uproar when my little brother corrupted my ps2 memory card. This new generation needs to move on and realize the world has never, isn't, and never will be a fair place with sunshine and rainbows. Inb4 - People saying we need to try to make it that way. Video game sob stories should be on the bottom of the list of things to be fixed in the world.

12 답변For all of you supporting karmit. Kids can't play as much as a lot of you no good for nothing adults that are living off of social security with out a need to. He worked his butt off just to see someone delete it all in front of his face. If you actually have a job and a normal life you aren't supporting kermit.

9 답변How is he cheating? Hes not cheating? It like you and your brother/roomaates all playing on the same characters. Is that cheating? No? This kid was trying to take advantage of the Destiny community cuz there are some good hearted people in it. shareplay is there for ppl to get help in games. Hes young he fd up! He knows that, but what that guy did was wrong. You guys are making it seem like what he did was right. Bungie help him out!

1 답변I don't think Kermit said a word on the video. How do you know he was an adult? He could have been some punk kid, not that I condone this behaviour.

The Child is innocent, 11 years of age and his brain isn't fully able to understand the logic of good rewards and bad choices. Who knows what misguided value each has. His characters should be returned as well as his pick of any 2 free exotics, one for his armor of his choice and one for his weapon of choice. He is but a mere child and all of you are metaphorically casting stones that says he deserves no mercy, shall you receive none? Have you never received none? Will you expect mercy in the advent of a truly unfortunate event?

작성자: Raffky 2/21/2015 1:23:17 AMDefending this ass@le only highlights how low we have sunk as a specie. We step and shi#t on each other for amusement. Fine. We may enjoy it now, however, everytime we laugh at someones misfortune we lose a little more. Laugh now. Some day the fickle finger of fate may touch you or someone you love. On that very day. . Dont forget to laugh too.

1 답변The kid may be young and dumb, but a kid is easily susceptible to deception and, well, hope. This is suppose to be a community that can help each other without the fear of being tricked and taken advantage of. The kid reached out to a fellow Guardian who made it seem like he was going to help him, and in return lost everything. Yea he was naive, but if Bungie cant help someone in a rare situation like this, like they did with the weapon for the guy on his death bed, they'll make themselves look unsupportive of the community they created. The Kid deserves a little support I say give him a 1 level 28 of his choosing, and 200-250 vanguard marks. Let him get back into the game with some resources to move forward. Many will think this is unfair, but they can go cry into a pillow. Help him out

How odd.... I remember when there used to be videos of guys making kids break their Ps3's and Xbox 360's. Did anyone feel sorry for them? Nope. So why should it matter now? Besides, I'm pretty sure that something like this is happening right now.

1 답변So the kid was having someone lvl his character by playing his account. Yet he's the victim... The mmo community would hate him and the fps community commends it.

8 답변I am supporting Kermit actully... Myself, lv32 titan,lv30 hunter. And I'm same age as cuckoo (11) and really all I did was do raids. So this kid was trying to cheat to rank up characters number 1. 2 he does live stream and u need to be 13. The 103 percent his fault that he shared it. But Kermit really had no right to delet his characters. But turns out bungee gave him glowhoo, fate of all fools, word of Crota, and bane of dark gods. And now that they gave it to him guess what!?!? What if the video turns out fake . Wowow big suprise
