Hardlight is garbage
Got a hardlight from nightfall and at first I was excited. Then I tried it and holy sh!t does it suck. Low damage and recoil you can't control when the enemy is more than 10 ft away
Edit: Since a lot of people are butt hurt, this is a first impression and I barely upgraded it. Although if it's shitty now and the upgrade perks don't stand out, I doubt there's much difference.
Edit 2: After giving it another chance I'm starting to like the gun. I still would much rather have a suros or even Monte Carlo but it's not as bad as I thought.

I received Hard Light in the gorgon chest this week. I'm also running it basically non-upgraded right now since I have been focusing on upgrading a legandary hand cannon (Chance) with explosive rounds I received in nightfall first. My experience is slightly different. No it's not the best auto rifle, but it's a lot of fun and the first thing I did was test it out. I completed the 100 precision kills (the majority of it since I had already started it beforehand) with it and had no issue. I'm excited to get the stability perk and see how it runs then :)

Go back to whatever pit you crawled out of, peasant. You can never achieve 60% and over headshot accuracy with that attitude towards such a beauty. But alas, you still have much to learn. There's hope for you yet. TL;DR Hard Light will make you a master of the ancient technique of thumbs. Hard Light is the lord of thumbs... If you dare use it as a weapon instead of a trophy.

Yup. It sucks. But it sounds cool, and it's fun to hip fire with while farming. Before I had one, one of my buddies would never shut up about how great it was. I wondered why he only would use it on cosmodrome patrols. Now I know...

Hardlight actually isn't too bad when it's upgraded. It's perks can allow it to have near or maximum stability, and it's one of the few auto rifles to have respectable impact, reload speed, and rate of fire. It does take a little getting used to though.

5 답변My first encounter was the same as yours. But I gave it time and leveled it up. And I love it. Ya it's not good at range. But that's not its job. Use a scout rifle for range. My hard light is for killing people in hallways. (Pvp) In pve I can straight up annihilate any groups of enemies that come at me. Not to mention bending bullets around corners. And the impact works when your in their grill. The rate of fire is enough to compensate. Don't get me wrong. It's not overpowered like some others. So maybe that's why you thinks is garbage? To each his own. Use what you will.
