Because we're 20% cooler and they just can't handle that. No but seriously it's cuz we live in a society where if something is strange or weird people hate it. Examples: Bronies, Nerds, Homosexuals, Transexuals, religions, geniuses, special-Ed, Furries, Cosplay, etc.
