Don't believe a word bungie says about "learning from the mistakes of
Te dark below", they're raising the attack stats on all weapons again, meaning we're going to have to do yet another upgrade
On our exotic weapons, it's pathetic how low bungie will stoop to increase people's play time, this sucks
Edit: the problem with these expansions Is every time one of them drops, all of the weapons we have become completely useless in pve compared to
The newer ones, let's
Be honest here who still uses
Shadow price in pve when they could
Use up or anything which has a 331 max attack compared to a 300 or
Whatever it was, same with crucible guns, I like the idea of having a fresh set of
Guns every dlc, but
That doesn't mean they should go and make our previous ones obsolete, same
Goes for
Raid gear

Well no shit they have to increase damage... a higher light level means higher level raids (the new normal raid is 32 and hard is 35) so you wana be fighting level 35 enemies with 331 weapons that were hard against level 33 enemies?? No I was stronger weapons! It only makes sense and is completely logical

1 답변Genuinely still use my Shadow Price. It's 10x better than the ridiculous bullet hoses they have at the moment. Only Legendary AR I have that competes with it is my 331 Vanquisher.
-
Obviously they are raising the attack damage it would be stupid not to that wasn't this issue the issue was making us re level the exotics from nothing but if you think about it they didn't have to do that they could have left them weak my biggest problem with everything was you could buy better gear from the vendors making the raid gear pointless I think they aren't going to make that mistake
-
I for one still use weapons like Shadow Price, and I'll explain why. First thing, a 10% increase in damage output isn't that big, especially if you get critical hits. Second thing is that the stats on most of the new vendor weapons are inferior to the previous set, whereas before the stats were good and you could choose between accuracy and DPS, unlike now. If the new sets have the old stats with new damage output then I'll upgrade, but there's little reason to make the effort.

11 답변Stop your whining. Every time an MMO drops an expansion with a level cap increase, old gear is useless. That's how it's always been. Your entitlement is unfounded.

They have to figure a way to lessen the grind. It could potentially put a lot of people off. To the point where they just quit. Bungie needs to be careful with this dlc. The same exact thing as last time with new currencies and making all gear/guns useless will scare off more people than it will bring in. They were counting on new people buying the game at xmas so they could get away with what they did. And it worked. Don't think so this time. The gain/loss ratio will not be in their favor on this go around

2 답변You do know they're probably just going to add another tree instead of re-leveling exotics right?
-
While I believe that all raid gear and weapons should be able to be upgraded, I don't think that we'll ever see non raid legendaries do this. Sad but true. As for exotics, I don't mind having to spend another shard or something to get the next level of damage so long as I don't have to re-level the gun in order to get the boost in power...
-
5 답변This is how I would do it. Xur still sells upgrades but the XP reset does not happen. You give Xur glimmer, an exotic shard, and the weapon and you get the new attack value with the final upgrade unlocked but not completed.
-
5 답변Idiot they mean they WILL TRY TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO WHEN THEY RAISE ATTACK THEY WONT MAKE US UPGRADE AGAIN IF THEY DIDNT MAKE THE ATTACK HIGHER THEN OUR WEAPONS WOULDNT DO MUCH DAMAGE TO THE HARD RAID GUYS IN THE HOW RAID
-
I remember reading that they are changing the exotic upgrade process for HOW. Now I'm thinking if they do how they did with the necrochasm and require something to upgrade them "ideally exotic shard" and not require further upgrades that would be perfect.
-
2 답변I'd like to see your evidence for the fact we'd have to re-upgrade our weapons. I would not be surprised if Bungie just allowed us to pay 1000 or so more glimmer or 1 more shard to trade our fully upgraded 2.0 exotic in for a fully upgraded 3.0 exotic. I think that is the best option Bungie has.

3 답변So basically as our level and our enemies level increases you want the weapons to stay as they are? We need higher level weapons to deal with those higher level enemies. To get those higher level weapons there is absolutly no way what so ever to avoid leveling up guns again, be it an old upgraded gun or a new DLC gun, you have to level it up. If you get a 3.0 version of an exotic you already have drop after the next DLC, you have to level it up so its the same thing. Too many people expect the easy option.."oh I've already leveled this gun, I shouldn't have to level it again!" We are lucky Bungie even gave us the option to upgrade our guns instead of saying they weren't upgradable and making us have to acquire the new higher level version. It doesn't even take much to upgrade and relevel guns. The resources are fairly easy to come by and so is the xp so I don't see what the problem is really.
