Lore Experts only Please!
To debate one must know both sides of the argument, not just one..
-Some awesome guy who debated
MAJOR EDIT!: So many of you don't know Halo lore. As I said, only people who know both sides. Read the Halo Forerunner Saga guys; the Flood aren't just space zombies
Edit: So some people do not know Lore lol.
The only way to stop the Flood is to rid the Galaxy of life.
Edit 2: So people are saying that the Vex has a chance, well no they don't. To win, the Galaxy has to be rid of knowledge. The Vex have knowledge.
Edit 3: For the haters who do not know what the flood is, it's an enemy from Halo.
Edit 4: the only way to stop the Flood is something called the Halos. Destroy every living organism in the Galaxy or Universe. They feed on Knowledge.
That's what the Halo's are. The ultimate weapon of destruction. The Halo's are activated by something called the Ark. The Halo Rings send a blast of energy faster than light.
It can kill every living thing in our solar system in a fraction of a second just to give yall an example. :)
Edit 5: for those who still think the vex will win. Here is how the Flood will stop them.
You know that white core? Yes? Will that has bio cells(living organisms) the flood controls that. May not be able to control the body, but they can control the mind. Thus that knowledge gets sent to the GraveMind.
Game over Vex
Edit 6: If you guys read Lore at all. You would know that the Traveler is Master Chiefs ghost.

2 답변Depends if the darkness is a form of life. If it is living, the the flood will win, but if the darkness is some dark entity, then it would win.

3 답변작성자: Ferrinn 2/12/2015 8:16:59 AMThe Flood most likely..although the Vex control time so that could be a trump card. Plus, they can erase things from existence so there's that.

3 답변I do know a lot about the vex and the VoG. I don't know a lot about the flood cause I'm one of those guys who never played the campaign in halo but played multiplayer in halo 4 flood mode a lot. The only thing I would say, going off the knowledge that I have, the flood would loose due to the fact that they would have to be smart enough to learn how to open the vault of glass to get rid of the vex. Going off multiplayer the flood just seem to be mindless monsters like the hive. Just saying. This is probably all wrong though

20 답변If one random guardian raised from the dead by a Shiny door opener can defeat Key Minds of the Vex, I'm pretty sure the The Flood have MORE than a chance to defeat The Vex.

1 답변Flood easily especially if we base their abilities off of what they are in the Forerunner trilogy. Logic Plague, Key Minds, and Neural Physics would wreck all enemies in Destiny.

6 답변I loved it when in halo 3 tht mission where the flood was on your side for some reason. It was the mission where you had to go through some halo rings to get a skull for the hayabussa amour or watever its called

6 답변And yet the flood were stopped without having to rid the galaxy of life
Halo 3; the ark
.

4 답변The hive are not really alive. The flood sustain themselves on the calcium in the body of their host, but what would they do with a non-living, possibly silicon-based adversary? The hive also are based in their own dimension, making direct assault on them exceedingly difficult. They disintegrate and dissolve when destroyed, leaving no corpses to be infested.

7 답변Dude vex can go through time, no one would win, it would be a never ending battle. Unless the vex just went billions of years into the future after all life died off, making the flood dead.
-
3 답변The flood are parercites. Fallen or Hive or Vex are not parercites. So none of Destiny enermys can live and control dead Flood bodys when dead. The flood would win. A spartin "It that the covernent?" Master Chef "No it's worse"

5 답변I'm not particularly knowledgeable on the flood but I think the vex would somehow survive via some time paradox (whether it be that they activate the halos and then wipe the universe and get some vex from another dimension to enter our universe and then win or something else)

3 답변The first flood encounter made me fall in love with Halo 2. I will be popping TMCC this Sunday thanks to you.

The Halo rings were a last resort, not the *only* way to get rid of the Flood. In all honest it depends on numbers, I expect the Vex would be smart enough to figure out the Flood within a few hours, not counting time travel, but if the Flood had a decent numerical advantage such as a 10:1 ratio I'd put money on the Flood.

6 답변Sorry, I never played halo or had an Xbox, only PS3/ps4 here. Someone please explain to me how the Spartans dealt with the flood. I'm just curious.

작성자: Dookie Monsta 2/12/2015 5:35:54 AMYou think we have enough lore on destiny for an argument? Heres my take, Darkness: seems intense, overpowering and consuming. Flood: intense, overpowering and consuming. We know the flood had been almost completely wiped out long ago from the human made biological infection made to confuse the flood to attack itself and not much flood survived, what did survive fled and waited 10000 years to rebuild the "army". The darkness on the other hand is similar honestly, stretches across the universe (supposedly), consumes its customs (supposedly), and hasn't been defeated yet (supposedly). I'm going to have to say darkness as it seems its non biological and seems it could take over the flood.
