Who Would Win? Flood or All Enemies in Destiny?
Lore Experts only Please!

The only way to stop the Flood is to rid the Galaxy of life.
Edit 2: So people are saying that the Vex has a chance, well no they don't. To win, the Galaxy has to be rid of knowledge. The Vex have knowledge.
Edit 3: For the [i]haters[/i] who do not know what the flood is, it's an enemy from Halo.
Edit 4: the only way to [i]stop[/i] the Flood is something called the Halos. Destroy every living organism in the Galaxy or Universe. They feed on Knowledge.
That's what the Halo's are. The ultimate weapon of destruction. The Halo's are activated by something called the Ark. The Halo Rings send a blast of energy faster than light.
It can kill every living thing in our solar system in a fraction of a second just to give yall an example. :)
Edit 5: for those who still think the vex will win. Here is how the Flood will stop them.
You know that white core? Yes? Will that has bio cells(living organisms) the flood controls that. May not be able to control the body, but they can control the mind. Thus that [i]knowledge[/i] gets sent to the GraveMind.

Edit 6: If you guys read Lore at all. You would know that the Traveler is Master Chiefs ghost.

3 답변OK, one. The fore runners spent too much time and resources sending the prerunner humans back to the stone age. So they eventually came down to 3 options. 1. Digitize themselves which BTW, didn't work because humans got morphed into horrid creatures. 2. Form the halos as we call them and wipe out all existence with some samples left to survive and carry on. 3. -blam!- it, Yolo wipe everyone out, we're shutting the universe down. They went with 2. They didn't survive. They locked away the didact, and sealed their fate. Some think they just left to a galaxy far far away (naive engineers) However, the vex, the hive... , the flood couldn't use them and this knowledge that you speak of has to be taken from sentient life. Vex might have brains but they're robots, and then hive are magic using ritiluastic creatures conjured up of calcified bone. The flood couldn't multiply using them. It'd be over. Very quickly.

The flood could kill the vex but not use them for parasitic reproduction. So unfortunately your theory falls short. The vex would win for sure.

Flood win they absorb and assimilate all biological material. As for shanks Servo's etc they would be one infected with the logic plague. Hell the Hive would be hit first the flood use the calcium in the body to help change it and create gravemind's and seeing as the Hives outer shell is calcified (hardened calcium) they'd be a big surplus of building materials for the flood.

9 답변Man, I really hate to be THAT guy but...There is no such thing as faster than the speed of light. The speed of light is a universal constant that can not be broken. The only known loophole to this principal is nothingness, the void. Nothing can travel faster than light. I believe you meant to say The Halo Rings can send a blast of energy at the speed of light. Even that wouldn't wipe out a solar system instantaneously. It still takes the light from our Sun eight minutes to get here. I know I'm nit picking but hey the devil is in the details.

2 답변Ive been in ps forever so i dont really know what the flood is. This is what i understand though. They control organic things and can fuse with technology. I think the vex would win simply do to the whole time travel thing. And again I've never played halo but have they ever fused with technology that could think?. Also i guess the can learn and feed of knowledge and fusing with the vex would Give them all of the knowledge of time travel but you could have infinite knowledge of sethinf and still not be able to do it. Most people understand how to dunk. Not everyone can no matter how hard you try to teach them

1 답변You're ignoring the fact that the vex can traverse time. This means that the vex will always exist in the era before they fight. Also, depending on what assets the vex have the ability to use, the gorgons and oracles could simply wipe the flood from existence. Regardless of anything else, the flood is simply an organism. The vex could erase it if they could propel their super weapons outside the vault. If they can't, there is no way the flood could actually penetrate and destroy the vault anyways. I would assume Kabr's relic wouldn't work for them so enemies in the vault would make quick work of them.

10 답변작성자: Brokenspade 2/12/2015 3:40:08 AMThe flood ultimately lost. Yes they ate the galaxy once. But in the end they got spanked. I don't see the darkness haveing any halos floating around. But the vex can TIME TRAVEL! I just see them going all the way back to when the flood were first born and atomizing them from orbit. I don't think a.I. corruption would work on the vex either. They can just disconnect an infected unit from the whole.

9 답변The Flood can't do much to Vex or Hive. Go on all you want about Vex mind cores being organic, the Flood can't control that. They can't infect Grunts and Jackals because they don't have sufficient mass, what makes you think they can overtake a few cells? The Hive are dead matter already, so the Flood probably can't feed off of them, and their arcane abilities are pretty impressive. I'd like to see the Flood take on Crota (who, might I add, is the lowest of the Hive gods). Fallen and Cabal stand no chance, but Vex and Hive have them beat.
