I got kicked for having a Gjallarhorn
So there I am, wandering about the Tower trying to see what I got from some engrams when a message popped up. "Noticed you had glohoo and we're a 32, need 1 more for Crota". So I joined and noticed they were all in a clan, I had on a maxed legendary launcher, Fatebringer (maxed) and Ice Breaker so I could get heavy ammo. After we killed all the ads, I put on my maxed Gjallarhorn, and maxed Black Hammer. We were positioning in the middle when the leader noticed the beauty I had in my hands. He asked, "Is that a Gjallarhorn? We don't want people who need a crutch." And then he proceeded to kick me. I am so confused. Why do people assume if you have Gjallarhorn you are a noob?

Edit 2: To the people who say I don't have a Gjallarhorn, it is on my 32 Warlock.
Edit 3: I'm sad to see so many people assume I an lying, just because the minority of the community has made a bad image.

It's not about being a crutch, it's about having the best tool for the job, which is the Gjallarhorn. I just got mine last night from defeating Crota. Check my Titan. But I did plenty fine without it beforehand. Doesn't mean I won't use it now! So I say screw them!

You know why that happens..... Go into the recruitment section and you will see a sea LFG of "must be 32 with Gally" douche bag groups. It's an in direct result in my opinion. I can imagine that group probably has had the struggle of probably not having the gally for the longest time and getting hated on for it. Then when they finally got it, they were like, "f@ck you an your gally too

Soon people will realize how amazing Red Death is for Crota's CP and start kicking me for using it, I almost always run Red Death, Black Hammer, and Hunger of Crota. I have a Gjallarhorn maxed out but I mainly use it for fire burn Nightfalls and such just because it makes short work of them.

Wow, I thought I'd heard everything, but this!!!! I certainly hope I don't run into any of them in a raid, if I ever do anymore. And some of the comments received by others below, being kicked for not having max'd a subclass, etc., such a classless and selfish act. No wonder is in the state it is if we can't even play a simple game anymore. Cheers

Some folks are just like that. It would have been a nice thing to tell you about it and ask you to change your load-out if indeed they didn't want you using it, but to just boot you says a lot about them. Probably not worth your time.

1 답변Lets put this puppy to rest. Anyone, and I mean anyone, that defends the point of view of the clan is either an idiot or jealous that they don't have a Gjallarhorn. Period. If the clan cared that much they could have easily said, "Can you swap to the HoC or another seeking launcher, we don't use the horn here." But they didn't. They just chose to be dicks for really no reason other than stupidity or jealousy.

I normally used VoidWalker in VOG and got kicked all the time for not using Sunsinger. Which is why I'd rather not have a team for raids then run the raid with a bunch of kiss ass clans. Hell, I've seen clans kick people for not having enough discipline on a warlock.
