I got kicked for having a Gjallarhorn
So there I am, wandering about the Tower trying to see what I got from some engrams when a message popped up. "Noticed you had glohoo and we're a 32, need 1 more for Crota". So I joined and noticed they were all in a clan, I had on a maxed legendary launcher, Fatebringer (maxed) and Ice Breaker so I could get heavy ammo. After we killed all the ads, I put on my maxed Gjallarhorn, and maxed Black Hammer. We were positioning in the middle when the leader noticed the beauty I had in my hands. He asked, "Is that a Gjallarhorn? We don't want people who need a crutch." And then he proceeded to kick me. I am so confused. Why do people assume if you have Gjallarhorn you are a noob?

Edit 2: To the people who say I don't have a Gjallarhorn, it is on my 32 Warlock.
Edit 3: I'm sad to see so many people assume I an lying, just because the minority of the community has made a bad image.

I'm guessing they were kids... Bc an adult I'm sure would never say something like that or do that... They were jelly over your Gjallarhorn obviously. Just shrug it off and move on, the Gjallarhorn is a massive help at hard crota you need fewer shots to take down the shield and it's faster. I don't use my HOC bc iv had to many times some people don't fire enough rockets and his shield blinks back up... For some reason people won't say I can only fire 1 rocket, can someone make it up by firing 2? ...

9 답변I would kick someone for having one. Legendary tracking launchers do the same job and you can free up and exotic slot for red death or something better on Crota. Plus people with gayhorns are stupid and think they are good

Believe it or not people not everyone who owns a gjallarhorn think they're the shit or think they're elitist. I'm sure a lot of people are glad they have it and use it as it makes things easier and faster and who wouldn't want that? Not because they use it as a "crutch" and if they're going to say that it is then wouldn't red death and suros be considered one since you can't regen health without them/helmet and you need them because you can't be good and not be hit/avoid damage? Geez can't believe you got kicked for that

Then someone left and i invited my friend and he says "Ah dang his not a level 32." *kicks* and then i look at my friend who i invited and he was 30 but then i look at the leader..... He was a level 28.... That's why we kept dieing, this scrub wanted to be carried so i just left and didnt accept his friend request. two weeks ago i was helping a friend and his team that were struggling with crota (normal) and the leader said "I want you to equip your best weapons" so i put on abyss defiant, ice breaker, and hazen vengence (for heavy glitch) then switched to black hammer and gally. As usual the swordbearer kept dieing because not able to get to crota fast enough. then later everyone had a chance to pick up the sword (in which they failed hilariously) Then i asked if i can do it because i have some sword experience and so then i was the one picking up the sword and we got crota to atleast 15 percent health and the leader inspected me and said "Oh so you use gallarhorn? well goodbye" *sees kick screen* 3 mins later i start getting spamed by invite then i get a message from the leader saying "Sorry i kicked you" and replied back saying "You should never kick a person with a weapon that you don't have. Especially when they cant even use it after wipes and or becomes the sword guy." hours later my friend joins me and says they never finished it and the leader was kicking those who joined with no gally's but the people who invited them say they have sword experience.

I got kicked by a twelve year old squeaker yesterday for not having one. (equipped when I joined them) Was upgrading some weapons when someone on my friends list (from LFG) asked me to join and I said sure. Already did it for the week and I thought I'd help anyway. ( I really enjoy the VoG) About ten seconds after I join them I hear this high pitched voice say " he doesn't have a maxed ghorn." then seen the boot screen. Not sure what happened after that but they kept spamming me with invites a few minutes later. I just ignored it and went back to upgrading weapons. I think that kid did me a favor.
