“Victories make me stronger, prove me stronger” repeats as the guardian presses inward.
This enemy has won many battles, grown very strong. The pain of losing fills the mind. A hesitation, but the enemy doesn't know they’ve moved.
“Be brave. Be braver.” The guardian sprints from cover, the enemy turns, the guardian sees their prize, both raise their weapons…
From nowhere, five spider-like grenades rush in exploding, as a fireteam member runs up laughing while performing one of the oldest ritual victory dances.
“Victories make me stronger, prove me stronger” runs back through the guardians mind as they turn to engage their next opponent, the next challenge.
Winning proves us stronger, losing teaches us how to get there, and in the midst of it all we know how to have fun; aiming to improve and to collect.
