The Nine (IX) Gatekeepers. Protectors of the Jovians, our home is Europa.
We are not Guardians. Not anymore. We serve ... more prodigious masters.
The Nine Gatekeepers is a title. A distinction. In practise, a far larger group of Uninitiated Guardians exists within. The nine Gatekeepers have proven themselves a great asset to The Nine, serving as champions of their will.

We are described as being heavy infantry, that are kept constantly at a strength of nine Gatekeepers. The number never changes, as every killed, or seriously wounded member is immediately replaced with a new one, maintaining the apparent team as a cohesive entity with a constant strength.
Experienced Guardians are welcome, Beginners are encouraged.

The Nine have sent us to you ... to defend and raise you up once more. We have defended the Jovians, The Nine, and their interests. Now we defend the Last City.
Your defense will be a Wall.
Your wisdom will be Mystical.
Your strength will be Legend.
