Thats a fine theory and all, except now instead of just buying ammo with the strange coins that most of us don't need anymore, we have to farm glimmer for hours to get heavy synthesis. So now instead of just wasting strange coins they are wasting our oh-so annoying to farm glimmer and much more valuable time. So it's actually worse for us. Btw, i'm not saying your wrong, in fact you are probably right, i'm saying that if this is the case, then bungie is clearly dumber than i thought.

7 通の返信They probably stopped selling them because they know everyone is hording them, it has become to easy to get heavy ammo from Xur. They don't want people with infinite rockets beating the raids, they want everyone to have to suffer and grind.

1 返信My theory is with boat loads of heavy ammo you can run through nightfalls/raids easier. That's not how they intended us to play.

I don't care till I run out of heavy ammo packs. I still have about 100 left since the last time he sold them. I'll probably get at least 400 next time he sells them, which should hold me over for a very long time.

1 返信Xur hasn't sold heavy ammo synth because bungie, the dev team, and DeeJ included are assholes. It's that simple. The dev team is a bunch of assholes because they suck at coding algorithms for RNG. DeeJ for not relaying the messages, and again the devs for not listening to what DeeJ fails to relay. 14 通の返信The cynical side of me thinks that they are deliberately causing a drought for a few weeks, so when he does finally sell heavy many will spend 50-75, or even 100+ coins on heavy ammo. Here's the kicker: following the end of the heavy ammo drought, Xur will sell mask of the third man, heart of the praxic Fire, helm of saint-14, gjallarhorn, etc., and only a limited number of people will have the coin for it. This is only food for thought. Spend your coins wisely, Guardians.

Wouldn't really be much point having heavy ammo synths after the patch. We need the bloody things now! Whilst our ammo gets sucked away between runs. Not after when it will be preserved, that lowers the demand for them :(
