If your up to date on bungie news, you will know that the next dlc drop will not allow raid gears to be obsolete and outclassed by vendor gear.and besides, raid gear is helpful/advantageous for that specific raid via perks. I still have my kabr raid set from vog to hit oracles hard.

4 通の返信If the vendor gear doesn't progress along with the game it would kill Destiny. I know that bugs Raiders, but its the truth. You guys are the minority. The majority of players don't raid, you end progression for the majority, you end the game.

DramasEndにより編集済み: 2/7/2015 7:51:54 PMIt's a progressive game that will be periodically updated so get used to the idea of earning the next good stuff when it comes out. The "some noob got some stuff I had real easy & the vendor sells better stuff cos new content. What about me?...." argument can effing DIE already! IT DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE!!!@ The Level cap goes up, Gear/Weapons & new, more challenging level equivalent content keeps you interested. It's not the type of game that just holds your hand through a storyline, then you beat it, sell it on eBay or trade it in for store credit for some other new game thats going to be over with in like 8 hours of game play too. The story continues, the game lives on for years to come.

2 通の返信Bungie said they will not make that mistake again along with other mistakes like re-grinding your exotics and such, vendor gear will look new but the light level will most likely stay 31. How do we know for sure they will do it again? For all we know the hard mode for the new raid will be level 34 meaning gear from normal mode will raise us to just 33. The tower gear may just bring people to 32.

Well they said that they aren't going to make the same mistake with HoW. But I read that from a 3rd party not officially on the Bungie forums. They did say something akin to that when TDB was about to drop and we were meant with barely any changes, just more problems. So Ill wait and see what happens. Alot is riding on what HoW does.

2 通の返信The gear will be out dated. Once again and if anyone thinks it won't be think again. That's the whole point of how they choose to do things with their expansions. We hear everyday of all the bitching about VoG gear and weapons. We will hear it again for the CE when the HoW comes out.

Because that's how gear based games work. And if you're only playing video games for the sake of being the highest leveled person then you're doing it wrong. I'm playing the raids with my good friends across the nation for the fun and the experience. I happened to get three characters to 32 in the process. Cool.

Hopefully you're enjoying yourself playing? I'm not playing because I stopped enjoying myself, so I'm hoping the vanguard gear gets me to 32 so I can see the HoW content I paid for without grinding the same TDB content forever. I think being a lifelong RPG player really compromised my ability to enjoy this game for longer than six months. The silly damage level lockouts and having your level based on what gear you're wearing, versus the systems in every RPG ever, just artificially slows progression. Once, I would've wanted to get all the Crota gear and hit 32, but that's tedious when there are better games to play and people to hang out with in real life. So if the vanguard gear in HoW doesn't get me to 32, I'm out. And I'm not looking back.
