2 通の返信What's the point of HOW gear when comet is just going make it obsolete?!? In fact, what's the point in playing destiny when destiny 2 is just gonna come out eventually!!!

1. Have fun 2. They will still be the best performing weapons in the CE raid. (Just try going back and beating Atheon with weapons you bought of the TDB vendor's rack) 3. Even if other weapons have higher attack values, the elemental damage, and performance perks will still make them very useful. Which is why I have not broken down a single one of my VoG raid weapons. They are still too valuable in Nightfalls and raids.

Well what's the point in the game I'm general then? I personally play for fun and to dick around. Once I get Dying Light Monday (ordered from Amazon) and I pay off Battlefield Hardline, that's all I'll play haha

The video of the gear in japanese DOES look pretty convincing. Seeing how DeeJ and anyone over at Bungie did NOT say it was false..... that almost always means there's a lot of truth to it. So yes. The light level will go up, as seen in the video and all our vendor gear, guns, and your crotas end raid gear will be outranked initially by the new vendor gear. What they could do is similar to what they punished us with when we had to upgrade our exotics. Apply that logic to raid gear, basically. You'll be right back in the hole. What they did the first time worked. no one stopped playing, or not enough did to affect change. The more hours you log and the bigger the incentive to buy the DLC the better. The "scrubs" will be level 33s instead of level 31s within a month or 2 of release. Sorry. i really wish it weren't true. It's part of the reason i find it pointless to get good enough to raid, fall in love with the new gear and weapons only to see them obsolete in pve once HOW drops. TLDR: Bungie or any game dev wants you logging hours and buyin DLC. They don't get that if they make it easy to upgrade your old stuff. you get to grind for new stuff.

Nice try, except a Bungie dev named Luke (can't remember last name) commented and said that they would not repeat the same mistake of upgrading exotics and tower gear outclassing raid gear like they did with TDB

2 通の返信Well it took me about 2 weeks to get it and 3/4 weeks to get all 12 pieces so why not get it? Plus if you go by your logic.. Why ever play any game? You're only going to put it down and buy a new game at some point later in your life, so why waste your time on this game?

That's the nature of the game. I had fun getting that stuff and I'll have fun getting the new stuff. As long as I don't have to level my exotics up a third time I'm cool with more tower gear. The gear is specific to CE anyway.

2 通の返信The problem started from day one. . .the decision to lock content for the sake of profit. This is the main reason I avoided the "season pass" bs. Hell, the constant complaints would have been prevented if everything stayed in place as intended, or both dlc were just dlc and not these so called "expansions".

44 通の返信alot of posters get on my damn nerves. if none of you have ever played a mmo or jrpg before i suggest you read the fk up on them. you level up. get cool shit. when/if game expands they create new levels and cooler shit. thats just the flow of the fking genre. i cant even scroll the forums looking for a decent article cuz i keep seeing posts about the content and shit. fk eject the cd. have digital? fkin delete it. ykur entitled to your opinion but fk man im tired of ppl complaining like this is the only game in the universe

Bungie recently posted something about "their past mistakes with the dark below DLC and how they ended up making VOG gear obsolete" they said they learned from that and won't happen again so I'm sure they'll have some kind of upgrade system where you can upgrade old gear i.e. Gear we have existing since dark below DLC and can upgrade them to higher light levels to grow with how DLC. They won't do the same thing again making old raid gear obsolete.
