Hey guys
I'm going to be doing my first nightfall this week (been playing since Beta, but my friends only got Destiny at Christmas). I don't have any elemental primaries, and was thinking of going:
Primary: Badger CCL
Special: Icebreaker
Heavy: Steel Oracle Z-11 (Void)
I'm also a lvl 30 Hunter, will be doing it with a lvl 29 Warlock and a lvl 31 Hunter.
Do you guys have any tips on this week's nightfall, and how I can make it easier on myself? That'd be great thanks :-)

At the part where u open the gate, sit back where nothing can see u and snipe everything w/ your IB. At the priest, sit back where you entered the Winter's Run area and try to stagger him as much as possible.

GemCutterにより編集済み: 2/6/2015 11:39:39 PMSolo on my Titan and Warlock. I only had to self res one time when I was just wasting a Yolohorn round cause there was more all over the floor and it somehow hit the side of the wall I was next to. Got another final rest 2 on my Titan (dismantled) and a Judgement VI (void, rangefinder) on my lock. Anyway I just stay on the FAR back pillar in the door locked section, make sure that you don't forget the three major hobs that spawn from the side door though. Icebreaker it's a snap. For Father Dickface I just popped out, rockets, pop back, wait for synth. Repeat. Cheesy as hell but I just wanted to get through it. Watch out for the captains, those shrapnel launchers with solar burn are freaking nasty. One actually teleported to where the four goblins are in the ketch area.

Your loadout seems good. As a rule for all Nightfalls, do NOT run out into any room until you have sat back and cleared the majority of it. And if the Nightfall is Solar Burn (which this one is) Icebreaker will do ridiculous amounts of damage. Like, 20,000+ for every critical shot at least.

An Oracleにより編集済み: 2/6/2015 11:24:56 PMIcebreaker will be good enough. There are good hiding spots in each part of this strike. They're not really worth using on ROC strikes, but triple burn nightfall is a different story. If you don't know them, there are Walkthroughs on YouTube. Just take your time, work together and don't die. I was able to solo it on one of my hunters this week if that helps. Edit: I forgot to mention. If you let the vex and fallen fight amongst themselves, they will mostly wipe each other out. It makes those sections even easier.
