Dude ur DDOS ING the game for an easy kill, on Crota. That's just sad. Crota isn't hard to begin with and DDOS'ing is pretty extreme. It's what brought down PSN and XBOX Live over Christmas and I am not surprised Bungie would banner anyone for playing around with it. Really stupid that u thought you could get away with that one

I have heard of the tactic he named and it involves DDOS'ing your own consol to break the wall in the back of the map, then pushing him off with grenades, I guess I don't know what tactic they used but if it was the DDOS one then they deserve to be banned.

No just no A lag switch basically slows your internet down by running a program to max your router (a little bit like a ddos attack but no they aren't comparable Also there's no way of detecting if it's a lag switch or if someone else in your house logged into the net and started downloading a movie. I'm also pretty sure there's no law on attacking yourself ./

Well I guess in the end we don't know the exact tactic they used but bungie wouldn't permanently ban someone for something small because that can make them look bad and lose players for anyone they ban. So what ever they did, it was bad cause Bungie only bans people when it's absolutely necessary to protect their game and other players.
