Bungie is planning to nerf the auto rifles again by 2.5% because people aren't using the crappy pulse rifles. Maybe if the pulse rifles were designed better in the first place we would want to use. But no, we are stuck with "Bungie Logic" and that dictates ruining something that works to promote something that doesn't. This is the same logic that forces us to use a third party website to find a raid team full of randos, because having match making would just stick us with randos and we wouldn't be able to use team tactics to beat aetheon. Even though they destroyed our tactics by making who got teleported random. Well I'll be looking forward to the future bad decisions Bungie makes in the coming months. Keep grinding.

At least players will have a reason to try out other weapons, like the pulse rifle. ----- [Edit] (I put it in a quote box so it's easier for you to read separately)
This wasn't suppose to break out into forum war, I was just trying to say I'm very well pleased with the ideas they had to balance weapon types. I think it will benefit the future of Destiny, particularly Destiny2. Auto-Rifles are going to be adjusted because they are "a little too effective" when compared to other primary weapons. They are also adjusting Hand-cannons and Secondary weapons which is needed. ----- I don't think reducing the numbers the Auto-rifles deal will completely throw out the weapon type. They didn't bring it down 7% or 5%, they brought it down 2.5%, so you'll hardly notice unless you are shooting at Valus Ta'arc. Right now players are "forced" to use Auto-Rifles and less for Hand-Cannons due to their dominance in the crucible. This fix will help players like me who want to use pulse rifles in the crucible without being the bottom of the team. ----- I think this update should be very welcomed, lots of changes that will vary the gameplay. We'll see how good or bad it actually is when it comes out, then you can complain about it. For the record, I would much rather see a VoG and Crota's End bug fix list than a weapon fix list.
