Bungie is planning to nerf the auto rifles again by 2.5% because people aren't using the crappy pulse rifles. Maybe if the pulse rifles were designed better in the first place we would want to use. But no, we are stuck with "Bungie Logic" and that dictates ruining something that works to promote something that doesn't. This is the same logic that forces us to use a third party website to find a raid team full of randos, because having match making would just stick us with randos and we wouldn't be able to use team tactics to beat aetheon. Even though they destroyed our tactics by making who got teleported random. Well I'll be looking forward to the future bad decisions Bungie makes in the coming months. Keep grinding.

2 通の返信iLikeHeadshotzにより編集済み: 2/18/2015 2:52:37 AMWant to know the 2 reasons 19% of PvP player were using auto rifles when you did your little stat test? The iron banner was on and there was a bounty EVERY DAY for auto rifle headshots. Not only that but they are probably the most versatile medium range weapon, as they should be because they were designed that way. Abd there's absolutely no need to nerf shotguns yet again while the most OP, ridiculous one-shot guns in the game (fusion rifles) have been barely touched since release, is a bad joke. Just because people try to use hand cannons and fusions rifles and get owned by better players with more effective PvP load outs (based on your fairly samey close-mid PvP maps) then come crying to you is pathetic, and an even bigger more pathetic joke is the fact that you actually bend over backwards to accommodate these whiney assed geeks with zero hand-eye coordination and the destiny forums constantly open. Congratulations, you've just alienated a large portion of your best players who put the most time into your game - was this deliberate? I watched an interesting video on YT by BDobbins who addresses the probable cause behind similar FPS games horrific lag in PvP. Please find the link above. -blam!- bungie!

9 通の返信The only way Bungie will listen to its community is if we walk away completely. Don't buy any dlc after HOW. Many already got the season pass so might as well try it. But after that walk away. You want a company to listen to you. Hit them in the pockets . Don't give them a dime after HOW. WHEN they see they've lost many players because of their stupidity. They will change. Bottom line. We make them profitable through buying dlc and playing the game. If we refuse to buy or play anything from bungie until they listen to us. That will force their hand. We hAve the power. They want and need our money and time. Not the other way around. Remember that .

Funny thought: Bungie redid Atheon fight so we couldn't choose who bears the shield against him. Crotas end we must choose a champion to pretty much fight Crota alone. So. . . In VOG it was not allowed for us to champion one Guardian and in Crotas End it is? I'm a bit confused. . .

1 返信Players popularly using a weapon class =/= the whole class is overpowered and deserving of a heavy-handed change. Conversely, if a weapon class is unpopular with players, it doesn't mean the whole class requires a damage buff. Granted, I do think the buff to the pulse rifles will be nice, but the ARs are fine as is. They just do a pretty good job of offering models that appeal with more than just DPS, and they're fun and relatively accessible and flexible. I'd rather see Bungie address individual weapons in each class instead of implementing broad changes for the whole class. That is going to be messy. The weapon sandbox is just too complex for such an approach. In general, though, the TTK gap between primaries and secondaries/heavies/supers is stressful on the experience. Some exotics kill super fast (e.g., mythoclast, TLW), but on the whole, primaries could use some attention to bring their TTK into more competitive times. As it is, some primaries are far too powerful, but most are relatively weak. I see nothing being done to address the consistency, balance, or fairness of the multiplayer. It's far too contingent on what you have than how good you are, and I'd like to see that rectified. As is, Crucible is just not fun.

2 通の返信I really can't see what they are trying to do here with this nerf.pvp, they put you on small to medium maps and complain that too many people are using close to medium weapons.also out of most shooters people play, how many chose a burst weapon over an auto.people like auto rifles and some find it easier to use them.scouts and autos will always be better than a pulse rifle,we didn't need a in between weapon because it sucks.also they are hoping people will go grind to get these pulse rifles to tie them over till something comes along.

4 通の返信KINGOFTHEJUICE-により編集済み: 2/7/2015 3:58:45 PMAutos were already nerfed to death a long time ago. Bungie citing people using them a lot as the reason for Nerf is ridiculously out of touch. (Pve) however, they are still a powerhouse in PvP and widely used for easy, fun play. 10% on pulse rifles still leaves them trash, unfortunately.

22 通の返信Sollus91により編集済み: 2/10/2015 8:47:44 PMThe thing about Pulse Rifles is... They're unnecessary. This whole system of making a weapon type based on a FIRING MODE is stupid. I served in the Army and do you know how many times I've fired an M4 on Burst? Maybe twice, and both times because I was at a range all day and we had to expend all ammo to go home. Seriously. In combat, using a burst firing mode is stupid, on semi-auto you can fire as fast as you squeeze the trigger, and firing in controlled pairs (two rounds) still lets you keep stability and not waste ammo. I can sorta understand Scout Rifles having higher damage (maybe they're a higher caliber?) but it doesn't make that you can't fire them as fast as you want. If anyone understands how an automatic weapon works, they know it has to function quickly or else the gasses will dissipate, so an artificial fire rate is nonsense. I really don't know how much of a difference this 2.5% nerf on Auto Rifles will make, but before they go changing Autos, they really need to look at the other weapons first, and find a really clever reason to keep Pulse Rifles around or just get rid of them entirely. I wonder if anyone who works on Bungie's weapons has actually held a firearm before. If they're gonna make a shooter game and talk about all this "balance" they first need experience operating an actual weapon in real life. Edit: Really the only reason I mention this is because I'm a huge sci-fi/fantasy nerd, but I love shooting and real life weapons. I just don't like to see games and game designers that think the two have to be mutually exclusive as if you either have to have a great sci-fi/fantasy game but with nonsense weapons, or a realistic military game for the jockish types. I just wanna see my two favorite things come together. Edit 2: To keep the game balanced they could add more recoil to autos and other harder hitting weapons instead of tweaking damage and (IMO artificial) fire rates and such. Then if it's range you're concerned about, autos will recoil too much to use beyond a certain range, but still kick ass up close.

3 通の返信Just a heads up guys but Battlefield 4 Beta Hardline is out and it's really well developed. Hey Bungie looks like someone can make a proper game you dumb asses.

1 返信Ignore post. A Very silly and uneducated comment. Since we all read why they are nerfing the auto rifles again.

9 通の返信OH NO! 2.5%! MY SUROS REGIME IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE NOW! MY LIFE IS OVER, MY INSIGNIFICANT 2.5% IS GONE

The only reason I use autos most of the time is because of Bungie's ammo penalty and no hot swap. I would love to quickly change my loadouts and armor frequently but they made a system to FORCE you to stick with one. Just one of many things they force a player into fitting their cookie cutter mold. Matches the uniformity of how we all look too. Until they figure out all the FORCING they do is the main reason the stats show the skewed numbers, they will continue to make more negative changes than positive.

I've always liked hand cannons and auto rifles even with the nerf I plan on using those guns. Bungie if you plan on making us carry one of each weapon type in our inventory for "certain situations" then make weapon leveling progression faster and give us more slots to hold weapons not only in the vault but also our character inventory. Need to do this before you implement more nerfs.

1 返信And I have to add that I'm glad bungie is not involved in the weapon designs for our military.
