Question. Why are so many players such lazy ass wipes? Refuseing to learn or even try the relic items. Excuses like " i have jellyhorn" or "i'm not a hunter" abound among other things. Hell, even hunters say it too. Always some wack reason and no effort. Then they get mad when you don't get 18 hits on crota in one sword use or some other rediculous feat.
My two cents.
Any other gardians feel some type of way about this?

I really have no point to play this game so now I just run sword on my 32 hunter for anyone who msgs me with a crota cp... I can get him in 2 swords on HM my gt us general grewal shoot me a msg if you need a sword runner ever

On a certain run, i had to take the sword because everyone else was reluctant to. So i went ahead, it was maybe my third time using it, and one of the times we got crota on his knees, i was only able to hit him once. One of the guys in the team went off about how much i suck and how i shouldnt be using the sword. I just told him, "yea im not too good with the sword yet, but no one else wanted to step up and use it. Seems like you know your way around it, why dont you pick it up next time?" The dude just raged for a bit and left. But damn, people like that are useless

I never touch the sword, and i have minimal use with the relic.I'd like to get more experience with both, but pretty much all groups don't wanna give a person the time to get experience.

My two cents: the average person isn't that good at raiding. The relic intimidates people because you won't be good with it without a few mishaps first. Add those two things to the fact most groups act like they are in a hurry to finish and you get the current environment.

2 通の返信I Carrie the sword every time, I actually havnt been hard mode without being the swordbearer. I never have to use heavy ammo synth either. Ha!

I dont think thats the worse, the worse its that players dont even want to take noobs into raids because of the time it takes to teach them, so... you either teach and have patience or dont teach and do the job yourself
-
I, personally, wouldn't mind doing either, but I rarely volunteer for the duty, even though I'm s hunter, for a simple reason. If I'm not with someone I know, a lot of the destiny community does not have a bit of patience. The patience for me to get used to it, learn how to best use it, etc. I would love to be the sword bearer, if only to learn why everyone seems to think it's so hard to use. However, just looking through LFG posts shows that some people don't want to play with people like me. And god forbid they find out I don't have Gallyhorn.

My $.02 is this: If you're not doing it yourself, you have no room to criticize those who are doing it. Can you give feedback on what your'e seeing if they're doing something that could easily be fixed and result in a kill? Sure. But don't be a d-bag if you're not willing to step up and do better. On the flip side, I totally understand why a lot of people never try. A lot of people are straight douches, and will give you a LOT of crap if you mess up at all. Most people I've run with aren't willing to allow people to learn. If you're running with PuGs all the time, it can be hard to ever get experience.

2 通の返信I've still never carried the sword, mostly because every run there's someone who is already really experienced with it and ends up doing Crota in 2 swords. But I recently started carrying the relic on Templar and Atheon after shying away from it for a long time. It's the most fun I've had in the game, by far. And you know what? Things go better when I'm running it than when I let other people run it, so win win.

Im usually the only hunter that doesnt prefer to use the jellyhorn so everytime i join randomers u can bet ur bottom dolla they "ask" (tell) me to run the sword. This was when i hadnt even touched the sword. It doesnt take long to learn and the majority of it is down to watching crotas sheid so it does bug me quite alot. Ive seen some shït hot worlocks do it so theres no excuse. If u die alot bcoz ur new at it,their its their tough luck. No fault of ur own. Also i get 6 hits per sword to be safe and it only takes 3 swords on hard. No need for 8 hits.

I'm good with everything on VoG and mostly everything on CE, but when it comes to being the Sword-guy, I completely suck. It seems pretty basic but when I die and we wipe my team yells at me for making me waste their Heavy. I want to learn but I'm nervous that people will yell at me. I'm a 32 warlock

I love trying the relics and not to sound big headed but I'm good with them now VOG I own the sheild and just starting to get the hang of the crota sword and have successfully taken him down twice with it going for a 3rd tonight when I'm in from work But I can understand why people are scared and a lot of the time it's people who can't get in raids much and need to join randoms and don't wanna risk messing up because they will probably get kicked where I am the opposite I just think sod it couldn't care less what happens I wanna learn
