Sword carriers and relic holders
Question. Why are so many players such lazy ass wipes? Refuseing to learn or even try the relic items. Excuses like " i have jellyhorn" or "i'm not a hunter" abound among other things. Hell, even hunters say it too. Always some wack reason and no effort. Then they get mad when you don't get 18 hits on crota in one sword use or some other rediculous feat.
My two cents.
Any other gardians feel some type of way about this?

2 通の返信No one in my raid group will LET someone else even learn how to do those jobs. It's really lame. We have like a couple hunters who are always the relic holders... And if you aren't a hunter you don't get to. No one gets to learn. And my issue with this is that, yes, the people holding the sword are the best in most cases, they take the game much more seriously than others, but I don't see why that means someone else shouldn't be able to try.

2 通の返信Agreed. Even if you have never run it you could at least tell your group I've never ran the relic or sword can you show me or at least put up with me giving it a try for a few tries before I pass it off?

2 通の返信In my opinion If you don't know how to use the relic it's just pure laziness, but the sword is a huge learning curve but once you get it down its a ton of fun.

16 通の返信For atheon, I agree. Anyone can use the relic, it doesn't really matter who. The damage for the Templar and minotaurs later isn't necessary, those fights are easy. However, crota is different. Ghorns are valuable to take out his shield, and being an invisible hunter swordbearer is just soooo much better than anything else.

I played with a team of 5 hunters yesterday, I was my 31 Titan. The level of the team was 30-32 yet even the 32 hunters refused to pick up the sword. It was normal crota so not too hard, they demanded we do Middle strat and refused to deal with the boomers, it was then my fault as a Titan sword bearer that I only got 6 slams on crota in the first sword run, 3 each down. Then the boomers got me because, I quote "the boomers are your problem" I have it 2 more goes with the team of asswipes (one guy was sound though) then I quit, at which point they threatened to report me!!! Then threatened to kill me. I laughed it off left the party found a new team and beat crota first run, got helmet and suros. Tl-Dr...... Some people are dick heads

1 返信As a hunter I hate having to run sword all the time. I like trying different roles and having different experiences each raid. And in VOG I'm always relic holder, I don't trust randoms lol

4 通の返信Carrying the relic in VoG is not that bad...however, I cannot speak on the sword since I do not run CE. All of us had to start from somewhere (even if the relic was sort of forced due to a Bungie update), so you are unwilling to challenge yourself then what is the purpose of participating in a raid?

I've run the sword and relics but usually I don't need to because I have volunteers in my clan who have more experience. Not that I refuse to learn its that other people don't want to stick around and waste time while I learn if someone can do it more efficiently

1 返信I hate playing VOG when I'm the only one who knows how to use the relic especially atheon. One dude yelled at me on why I didn't pick up the relic when I wasn't even in there. Then I got kicked :( So I sent them good luck messages.

I really have no point to play this game so now I just run sword on my 32 hunter for anyone who msgs me with a crota cp... I can get him in 2 swords on HM my gt us general grewal shoot me a msg if you need a sword runner ever
