I served. The glorification of killing another never sits right with a true Soldier, Marine, Seaman. or Airman. Chris Kyle deserves kudos. Not because he was the most lethal sniper in America's history of war, but rather he didn't go insane with grief at the sum total of lives he took. Your post is well intentioned; however, nobody worth their weight wants a weapon of war named after them.

Chris Kyle has the longest confirmed kill in AMERICAN military history. Furlong has the longest confirmed kill in CANADIAN military history. Cpl. Harrison has the longest confirmed kill in the WORLD and BRITISH military history. All these are records with their weapons. The British sniper and Canadian sniper used a 50 cal, Chris Kyle used a L115A3, not a 50 cal. That's not taking anything from any of these skilled marksmen, but don't say someone else has the world record, that would be disrespectful. Give credit where it's due.
