A lot of comments are hilarious I have to say that. So today I wanted to give a little explanation, because a lot of people don't seem to get it and claim all the same stuff again and again. So here we go. 1. Hardlight is an auto rifle. Auto rifles are bad for pve compared to hand cannons or scouts. The high rate of fire / low impact makes it even worse, you really should know that by know guys. There really is no opinion here. 2. Let's talk about pvp. The main perk "volatile light" is for people who can't hit their target. The better option than shooting a wall would be to actually aim for the head, same goes for pve. (really can't believe I have to say this). Some of you claim it's good for cqc. No it's not. It's outgun by the vex, last word or any low rate of fire / hight impact auto rifle. 3. No it's not the best weapon for the first CE encounter. Right answer in one word: Fatebringer | secret edit: Ice Breaker, Mida users are welcome as well ;) Actually I don't give a -blam!- about what you use for the first part.
