What do you like about the Crucible? Why do you play PVP?
How can the Crucible be better? In which directions would you like for it to evolve?
Please keep it clean. Opinions are welcome. Attacks against people who disagree with you are not. I'm hoping we can create a safe place for people to express themselves sincerely.

Two things spring to mind: 1) Weapon rebalance - Hand cannons are far too dominant since 1.1.1, they do a scout rifle's job and they do it better. I suggest a buff to the other three primary weapon types or a nerf to at least the hand cannons long-range capabilities. Also - Thorn has been a thorn in too many players' side, too much and for too long. The Mark needs a rework because it is just too crippling for the victim compared to other exotic perks. It needed the rework yesterday, not in ten weeks from now. 2) The netcode. Bad connections shouldn't reward players like it does now. Of course, you cannot control what players that connect and if their connection is bad or good, but it is terribly dull too see someone soak up bullets that seem like the most obvious hits, while they are perfectly capable of dealing damage to you.

I love control and iron banner. I'm not a big fan of ToO. I feel like one match is very competitive and the very next match is severely lop sided. Match making based on K/D ratio from crucible and time played?

Crucible is perfect, love the playlist and love the game! And game modes! The HoW re-roll to any gun os perfect because everyone can get what they wish to have but two things: Private crucible matches Buff auto rifles back to normal so everyone stops crying about the handcannons and by everyone i mean the scrubs P.s CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW GAME MODES WITH TTK

Haha I like how DJ put Weapon rebalancing, NO you mean thorn rebalancing.... Last time you did something in a group you Fuked up my AR's..... Here at bungie we are incapable of tweaking the damage on 2 guns, Suros or Vex so let's throw in every AR possible... Oh wait.... Did we fuk up?? Nahhh let's keep nerfing them! You know the depressing thing for your new gameplay trailers are the fact that you didn't see one thorn in pvp! It looked like it was pretty solid multiplayer, but what's advertising if you don't address the issues with what's already in multiplayer, your trailers would honestly look like shit if u had everyone running around with thorns, so you greedy Fuks would make us think that it's going to look good again for pvp! It's laughable!

Custom and private matches. I want to play rumble with 5 friend and talk smack like I did in Marathon and Halo. I want to to see once and for all, who is the best sniper in my sniper rifle only lobby. I'm sick of exotic weapons so I'll make it green guns only. And so on.

Its taking way too long to fix certain guns and there's been no explanation for the delay. Last word and thorn need nerfs (not legendary hand cannons). Auto rifles need a buff ( just enough to compete with other classes). Theres a lot of minor stuff id like to see changed, but if the guns arent balanced, none of that stuff matters anyways, so please please fix it now. Scrolling through comments it looks like the two biggest complaints are weapon balance and lag

Actually provide PvE with elemental damage primary weapons this dlc? Make exotic primary weapons have elemental damage? (Remedies issue above with HoW) Quit catering to crucible so damn much when you admitted that it was roughly 15% of total game time played? Seriously though... Upon entering crucible, all guns should default to a certain damage, perk set, impact, fire rate, etc... just for the duration inside. Same with armor. This way, no more constant bitching about "QQ, I'm a bad PvP player so this gun needs nerf." Would eliminate any/all advantages and disadvantages inside and base crucible solely on skill, not guns and gear acquired. Stock all guns at starting point so the players can swap out in combat if they want to change to a sniper, fusion rifle, etc...

i am a huge fan of control i think that mode is done very well and is much appreciated! What i do love and do not find in the pvp any longer is the large maps. more room to sneak about. plus having the random vehicles around adds a nice extra threat. First light and other large maps in rotation on standard control would be nice. The thing i feel needs improved most of all is the weapon balance. first few months of crucible was bliss. time to kill seemed perfect in my eyes. Now it is very short. The balance fixes always seemed to keep one or more weapon out of use. first few months it was pulse rifles. now its auto rifles. Lets not mention the Handcannons that are overshadowing everything else at this point! I would like to see some rethinking of the whole way it is done at this point. thank you .

I'm always getting shot, right before the crate becomes available and missing the ammo. Plan C was my go to exotic for the crucible and now it has no purpose... Maybe if less ammo dropped, but there were multiple (maybe 5) drop spots for special ammo, I could finally use my beloved Plan C again :^)

ToO should be more accessible to players, don't add matchmaking if that's really not the direction that you want it to take but maybe if there's only two guys in the fireteam, match them against another two guys, or if it's one guy then match them against another one guy and maybe have one respawn each round. It's just an idea but it's the only real non-matchmaking solution I could think of

If you want to have a real solid and competitive endgame for PvP remove the use of supers and let skillful gunplay shine and not an unbalanced 1 hit wonder determine the outcome of a round. Also the Thorn is just absolutely insane at this point and I know you guys see it. I know you track which guns get used the most and I am willing to put my lucky rabbit foot on the line and say that Thorn is at the top of the list. If you want to balance this weapon an easy fix that will still leave the gun useful and powerful it's simple the damage over time effect make it so that it can't kill past 1-5% health. Not only will this stop the silly 2 head shot joke that is this weapon but it will also make it so that if a guardian beats a Thorn user they won't die anyway.. The concept of beating someone and still losing is a little overwhelming in my eyes, especially in competitive end game PvP as you guys claim.

1 返信I feel like hp in pvp should be increased. Maybe its my personal preference but i absolutely despise any one shot kill. Anything in any game where i die in one shot i find aggravating because the death simply feels cheap (falling off a cliff doesnt count, i mean insta death attacks). Now, the nature of twitch combat makes this widely prevalent. Shotgun kill in one shot, snipers with last round kill in one shot, hand cannon are 2-3, death simply happens to be quick to allow real tactics and strategy to come into pvp. A lot of wins comes down to locating the enemies first and firing the first shot. This game has far too good of mechanics for that to be the only tactic. Higher health would allow us to do more simply put and the battle becomes more about manuevers than who has a felwinter's or efrideets or thorn.

Take special ammo out completely. Instead let us use some of these ammo synths everyone else is complaining about on Shaxxame Street. Make heavy an auto team pick up, but with a 30 second infinite spawn like PoE. Also enough with the lazy programming, map those edges and let us jump where we want to. Consequently, let my dumb ass get stuck on that window ledge or craggy rock instead of being retarded away because I should preemptively know better.

- make thorn only kill in 2 headshots if the thoughnesstat is at the lowest. - get autorifles back on par -matchmaking options -can anything by done about the lag, not always unplayeble but to many times. - BALANCE BALANCE BALANCE, every type of gun should be viable, for a surtain range/map, situation. Ie legendary pulse vs legendary auto, close range=auto advantage, mid range=almost same chance, long range=pulse advantage. Offcourse if you replace one with a exotic, you will gain some extra advantage. Replace both for exotic= same again.

MADG33kにより編集済み: 6/2/2015 7:36:32 AMI would love to see a purely skill based tournament or crucible section where you leave your gear in your vault, where your character's abilities are suppressed and you go in using the required weapons; one or maybe two rifles; perhaps a special and perhaps a heavy, which are the same for every participant in that specific game. Everyone has the same health, the same damage and the same regeneration, everyone has the same chance of coming out victorious based on their skill alone. Sometimes it's good just to get back to the basics in PVP.
