To all the low key, normal gamers...
Those who play as often as they can. Because work, school, kids, a second and maybe third job.
You the real MVP.
To hell with the trash who say you haven't earned things or have to be "32 w/ghorn" to get into their raids.
You're the normal, balanced people I enjoy playing with. I appreciate you.
Edit: thanks for the (mostly) positive response! It seems like some of you guys want to add me. I play on xbone as an FYI (no hate PS friends, just don't have one even if I do have a super old PSN account under the same name).
Edit: the "32 w/ghorn" was just an example. I generally mean people being elitist assholes.

But the persistent tension with casuals, which is their own conflict that seems to cause cognitive dissonance, "i don't have time to commit to this...yet i keep demanding your time. Ugghhhhh." Point is. Accept your situation. You cant play much due to life vs pixels - thats awesome. Pixels aren't worth it. But recognize your limitation. You're an mvp in your own mind, but not the group you abandon cause you've been ignoring your baby crying. Give your baby more love and do us all a favour...plan your time effectively...

In response bungie makes iron banner 30 gear, sells gear higher than what people grinded and raided for and xur (which you either hate or love.) Casuals are a disease of the gaming community. This game could be so much better if it weren't geared towards the casual player. Edit: 53 hate comments, at 100 tears each I'm well over my 2500 tear bounty for the day. Edit: the casual butt hurt is real in this thread. I love it. Edit: I just found out owning a lot of guns and being a sharpshooter gets you a ton of pu55y. Edit: ok it was fun, I really was just trying to get a rise out of people it's not that serious. Have fun, casuals and hardcore gamers alike.

Im 16 and only play on weekends and days off i also work on the weekends along with various other things i have going on. I think im prettu far alon though i have lots of exotics and am good in crucible when i play

I've got a full time job, a family and a house that I'm in the middle of redecorating, and have a good social life. I have been gaming for well over 20 years and remember a time when save files were a massive rarity in console gaming (Sonic 3 FTW). I find it hilarious anyone takes an elitist stance over actions they've done in a game, especially a game that works so much on luck. I play when I can, but I honestly couldn't care less about getting to 32 as I'm smart enough to know that everyone is going to be at 33 on march 11th. Anyone who wants to have a go at anyone for being "a filthy causal" needs to realize they're not really playing a game for the hardcore and that was the biggest new IP in history, of course a good portion of us are casuals, because most of us have other crap to do with our lives.

Human nature to find people to share your bread and to shun. No reason to think here is different. People just think Destiny is more than it really is.

Xbox one here as well... Work 40+ hours a week with side jobs... Lucky to get 2-3 hours in a night. Needs regulars to play with from 3pm est to. Like 10pm test Mon to Fri. Usually I can get 3 hrs in a row but sometimes it's hit or miss. Still chasing galley, suros, vex, etc. Add me if you can play.
