Xur Ice Breaker Update failed
I upgraded my ice breaker exotic through Xur: Agent of the Nine at a cost of 8816 Glimmer and 1 Exotic Shard, the result was the same as pre-upgrade. Where is my upgrade bungie?
I put in a lot of time and effort into the inventory hoping to obtain an upgrade and now my inventory items are missing and my exotic weapon is still the same.
Bungie you need to rectifiy this, as it is extremely upsetting.

I hope you are kidding. If not, read on: Icebreaker upgrade is used to boost you pre dlc weapon from max 300 to max 331. The trade off us you have to work your gun through all the levels again. Luckily that doesn't take too long. If you upgrade a post dlc gun it sounds like it resets the stats. So you have to level it up all over again. Good news is you do this by playing and having fun. Bad news is you lost your exotic shard and the other farmed elements and glimmer. You aren't the first to do this. Just don't do it again!

1 返信This should not be allowed to be performed. There r those of us out there that have never upgraded items before and why would a game allow you to spend to reset an item. Makes no sense...

1 返信Look at 1:04 in your video. You already had the newest version of the Ice Breaker which is 2.0. So all you did is waste all your materials and reset it back to its 2.0 version Those upgrades are only for upgrading it from its 1.0 version to 2.0 version which only changes its base/max attack rating. Sorry man. Maybe ask some questions next time.

What he said man. This "upgrades" are for old exotics with a Max of 300 damage. They upgrade to the post dlc max of 331 damage. I'm sorry to say my friend, all you did was reset the progress of your post dlc level ice breaker and lose glimmer and an exotic shard because of it.
