Hardest exotic to get in game, suppose to be the best exotic. But it is kinda bad.
No impact
Too low magazine with the high rate of fire
High rate of fire autos are garbage
Some suggestions are; (Some of these suggestions may be OP, just throwing out ideas and what other people suggest)
Double the magazine
Give some impact
Lower rate of fire
Lower rate of fire but increase damage when scoping
Body shot kills also trigger the cursed thrall explosions
Every precision kill triggers a thrall explosion
Less recoil
The cursed thrall explosion is the same as firefly that does a bit more damage. Firefly happens every time you kill an enemy with a headshot, Necrochasm is only 'frequently' so there are times you won't even get it. So is that better then firefly? Is that worth an exotic? Eidolon Ally with a fancy looking firefly.
No one uses max rate of fire auto rifles... Abyss Defiant is better than Necrochasm.
Yes we needed another thread about this! :)

2 通の返信Makes you wonder who the hell at Bungie actually TRIED the gun, took into account the rarity of it, the work you have to put in to upgrade it, and the flat out luck to just start the whole process, and thought, "oh yeah, this is good"?!?!?? Seriously. Someone designed this gun, came up with the process of getting it, and felt that it's good. Wtf??? It's not like it's even questioned by the community. It plain old SUCKS. How could they release it, as it is? No gamers there, or testers, said, "hey. The gun pretty much blows. Maybe we should redo the stats"?

4 通の返信Should I scrap my Crux of crota? My eris is level 1, I don't know that I want to spend 2 weeks doing her bounties.

1 返信Maybe it gives thrall explosion every headshot kill and body kills have a chance of exploding with slightly less damage

1 返信The Damage on the gun is trash it does like 52 damage to the head that's awful it's 339 attack it should be the most op gun in the game

3 通の返信I think the thrall burst is meant to be a literal crowd control perk. Firing into crowds of enemies. Problem is, large crowds that would make this perk shine don't really exist in this game.
