Hardest exotic to get in game, suppose to be the best exotic. But it is kinda bad.
No impact
Too low magazine with the high rate of fire
High rate of fire autos are garbage
Some suggestions are; (Some of these suggestions may be OP, just throwing out ideas and what other people suggest)
Double the magazine
Give some impact
Lower rate of fire
Lower rate of fire but increase damage when scoping
Body shot kills also trigger the cursed thrall explosions
Every precision kill triggers a thrall explosion
Less recoil
The cursed thrall explosion is the same as firefly that does a bit more damage. Firefly happens every time you kill an enemy with a headshot, Necrochasm is only 'frequently' so there are times you won't even get it. So is that better then firefly? Is that worth an exotic? Eidolon Ally with a fancy looking firefly.
No one uses max rate of fire auto rifles... Abyss Defiant is better than Necrochasm.
Yes we needed another thread about this! :)

Combo164により編集済み: 3/9/2015 9:43:42 PMI got husk of the pit to work. Very interested in how it'll work for me whenever i get it. If i remember correctly, it has a higher impact (though not massive) than other high rate rate of fire ARs already making it stronger. Just needs a stability boost and a better special ability that isn't a poor man version of fire fly. Heck icebreaker is a instant explosion per kill. Maybe hitting an enemy x amount of times will cause the explosion? Can easily see as a problem in pvp though.

How about make it a pulse rifle with a 3x crit mod like bad juju? The mag is divisible by three, harder critical would make the curse proc more often, and the weapon would finally match the profile and icon for the weapon.

3 通の返信Used it a bit this weekend and I have to say, it isn't terrible, but it is in need of a major buff. There are a few avenues they could go down that would put it on par with the Vex but not make it OP. 1. Adjust the Cursebringer perk. As it stands you get an explosion only on precision kills, and at a rate of about 1/2. Getting strings of precision kills is difficult (at least for me, others may be Auto Rifle gods). So I would suggest either A) make all kills have the same 50% change to cause explosion, or B) make it like Firefly and 100% of precision kills cause explosion. 2. Increase magazine size and adjust damage stats. Because of the low Impact, it takes entirely too long to get a kill on anything other than a Thrall/Dreg. Having to reload multiple times just to bring down a level 24 Blade of Crota is rediculous. The ideal scenario would be to decrease ROF and increase Impact by a proportional margin of about 15%, while increasing the mag size to ~60 rounds. 3. Change one of the perks to make the gun truly unique. This is by far my favorite route, I don't think it would make the gun OP in PvP either. Leave the Cursebringer perk alone. Leave the ROF, Impact, Stability, and mag size alone. Replace the stability upgrade perk on the second perk tree with Explosive Rounds. This would be the only Auto Rifle in the game with Explosive Rounds, and coupled with Cursebringer would essentially make it an Auto Rifle version of Fatebringer. Sounds a bit crazy I know, but how crazy is an auto fire Fusion Rifle held in the primary slot (aka Vex Mythoclast). Again, this gun would be amazing in PvE, but in PvP rarely are enemies grouped up enough to take advantage of Explosive Rounds/Firefly so I don't think it would make that much of a difference. Anyway, just my thoughts on it. Right now I use it just for kicks when messing around on Patrol doing bounties or whatever, but to reach the level of awesomeness that it should have as the hard raid primary, it needs work.

The Loathsome Dung Eaterにより編集済み: 3/4/2015 9:23:01 PMBump I knew it was garbage just by looking at it objectively. It wasn't until I actually got it that I knew the extent of how useless it is. I...I just didn't know.....I DIDN'T KNOW!!!1!1! Take out rangefinder perk, give it string of curses type perk. Would justify the low mag size then. Then just add some range and impact to it. Might be usable then.

1 返信I would just replace the Cascade Perk with Focus Fire, and make Curse Bringer always proc
