Why am I getting content error/loading errors on an installed game......

Dear Bungie, It's been about 5 months now since launch and for awhile it averaged about every two days I got ta content error/loading error, and then it seemed to fade away after the update before TDB came out, but since the last update it seems to have accelerated that frequency to almost everytime I play. Note: I previously referred to this as a disc error, while it may be something to do with the disc (the disc has left the xbox once since i got the game, and is in almost perfect shape and will install without errors to the xbox HDD), the xbox alert that displays on screen refers to it as a "content error". I have cleaned the cache and redownloaded the updates and packs in the past to try to help this error. Sometimes it seems to help sometimes it does not. I have no evidence other than occurrence frequency but it seems to happen in conjunction with certain updates. The game is installed. (I installed it on day one to avoid this sort of thing.) I am apprehensive about reinstalling the game files, if something has happened to the actual disc. The console is as clean as I can make it without voiding the warranty. The console is wired into the network. (This is not a animal related network error.) At first the game freezes and an Xbox dialog box pops up saying says problem loading content, then a second says problem reading disc try again. The xbox is not overheating, it is away from obstruction, and this doesn't happen with any other games... There's nothing more frustrating then being almost finished something in your grind happy world and then your game freezes up and everything is lost. Cool there's another hour of gameplay lost ontop of the already hundreds ruined by your game crashing. ______________________ ______________________ Edit for other players/dev's troubleshooting purposes: - It has happened 5 times today already, it happened 3 last night (though far more infrequent than today). I am clearing the xbox cache, restarting and seeing if that helps. Edit2: - After clearing the cache, I played a game of crucible and the game froze/crashed again on the reward screen. Edit3: -After this latest crash, the xbox rebooted making a ton of loud harddrive-esque sounds (It is usually pretty quiet), it then informed me core Xbox features were missing and were going to be reinstalled or replaced. --The Xbox is now just sitting at the Xbox white boot screen... (well this escalated fast) Edit4: -The xbox has finally booted to the homescreen, the harddrive is very loud now. - I am apprehensive about playing this game anymore. I am afraid to brick this xbox. I would very much appreciate communication from Bungie Help/Support about this situation. Edit5: -Decided to delete everything except for save game file and start fresh. Edit6: -Deleted everything, successfully reinstalled the game files to the harddrive from the disc, & redownloaded the pack/update. -Going to try a match of crucible... Edit7: -During the match it stuttered and froze but then snapped back to life -Near the end of the match I died and the xbox froze after twitching between two frames for 30 seconds. -Calling it a night Edit8: -Going to try booting the game and completing a crucible match/playing the story -Match finished and then froze - I restarted the game, cleaned the cache and tried patrol to finish an even instead of crucible. it worked and after i left to go to the tower. after finishing at the tower I left and it froze Edit9: -i played patrol after getting home tonight, finished a public event, and then left, game froze on leaving the tower just like before.... -think i might be done with this game. Edit10: - Just checking in to see if any sort of real divine tech support graced this post. Appears not, guess I shouldn't be surprised. Edit 11: Completed full download reinstall, plugged directly into modem, downloading failed once, so i started all over again. did it successfully, logged on tonight, played a WHOLE match of crucible and then had the game freeze before the reward screen doled out the rewards. Still no Tech Support. Edit 12: wiped again and reinstalled everything without a hitch and downloaded all updates and passes and necessary things to try one more time. Should bungie help read this, even if this is going to be addressed in a patch or its a bad whatever hardware wise (which is difficult to see because somethings work and somethings dont but the game always passes its verifying content checks and intalls from the disc without error) a little communication goes a long way and doesnt make trying to connect with your company like talking to an abyss. Edit 13: For the record and what its worth for others suffering from the same issue, the latest patch has cured this error it seems..... ______________________ Could I receive actual feedback from a Bungie employee about this or someone who has had this problem and fixed it or communicated with Bungie about it.
