How to Beat Crota - Middle Platform Strategy [No Need to Kill Boomers or Wizards]
hope the video helps you guys who are struggling, our 2nd attempt was much cleaner than this :D

[b]Why the Boomers don't notice the Sword Carrier -[/b] When the SwordBearer leaves his cave we crit him with snipers to pin him against the wall and kill him as close to it as possible allowing our carrier to pick up the sword and hug the wall up to the right ledge where he can then approach crota undetected, this method is best done with a hunter due to the BladeDancers Invisability but can be done on any character type as shown in the video as we use a titan, The Guardian Fetching the sword should not shoot anything when going in to the sword as this will draw the boomers attention.

[b]Update[/b] - 23/01 we are experimenting with RB/RT/Super sword hitting combos to best reduce crotas health for the safest enrage kill, Best/Safest Combo we have had so far for consistency is 3RT/2RT+Super <Rotate> 3RT/3RT <Rotate/Orges/Rotate> 3RT[ENRAGE]/2RT and here's a video of a few of our mishaps today :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8V2rvA3R9Pk

Besides the necro bump, My and part of my fireteam went back to kill crota for the hell of it a couple weeks ago. We were each getting one swipe with the sword then handing it off to the next fireteam member. While my buddy was patiently waiting his turn with the sword sitting on the left rock I figured what the hell. A few quick snipes to kill the Knights and he had a wizard on top his head. Too funny.

4 通の返信Could you explain further how your sword bearer got up to Crota without aggroing the Knights? Ours seemed to always get there attention so we had someone always shooting at them to stun and draw attention.

4 通の返信This is kind of a scrub strategy. We did it while killing boomers and witches before the swordholder starting swinging at crota. Get the timing right, noobies.

Strategy: After the second sword against Crota is complete, the entire team goes down into the basement of one of the Boomer towers--we like to go right (facing Crota). Make sure to not take the bridge because the boomers will shoot you. Take the ground route. Once the team is in, everyone get to higher ground. The first Ogre will pop in the room. Spam him/her with heavy ammo and grenades. Once that Ogre is down, go to the front door of the room and you'll see the other Ogre making his/her way to the middle area. Spam that Ogre with heavy and grenades. It should take roughly one minute to execute this. Exit the room once Crota moves back to the center, and viola, you're on your last sword to beating Crota.
