Alien Poll Time!
I'm very curious to see how this poll turns out.

Before I start this, make sure your jimmies are in order. I made this poll, knowing that the "I'm atheist and I believe in aliens" answer would be the majority.
In my other thread people kept saying that it was foolish for me to believe in the Fermi paradox because it's based off of speculation. Yet they believe in aliens because the universe is so massive, they have to exist somewhere else. Right?
They fail to see that the argument against the Fermi paradox, is an assumption as well.
This all leads up to this poll. Many here know that I'm very religious. I've been ridiculed and harassed about my religious beliefs. Many claim I'm foolish because I believe in God, and to them there is no evidence to support a God.
This poll was made for those atheist people who believe in aliens. You fell for it. You ridicule me because of my beliefs, yet you are so certain aliens exist when you have absolutely 0 proof to support your belief. At least I have the bible to help with my evidence. You have absolute zero on this subject.

I don't believe in "god" not because theres no proof of his existence, but because theres more believable evidence that proves the things he or it claimed to have created was created through another means: evolution, life, formation of our universe, so on. I'm assuming when you say religion you mean Christianity: God created the universe, man, space, time, animal, earth, ect. A humanoid like being created all this from nothing. Scientific beliefs: Big Bang (which is understandably far fetched for religious views), gravity pulling clumps of matter together to form planets, evolution and natural selection making diversity in life, time technically doesn't exist and is a man made theory, space being created from the expansion of our universe.

Tardigrades can survive extreme temperatures and live almost everywhere-- and I mean everywhere. Frozen asteroids fell as meteors to Earth some time ago, and guess what they found inside? Our friend the Tardigrade. Not only were they intact, but they were alive too. Tardigrades have been found on Earth and beyond. They're bonified aliens. If life is tough enough to survive in the vacuum of space, then I'm sure that it can survive anywhere. Another thing: I'm religious, and I believe in aliens. Why would a Creator simply leave humanity alone in the void of the universe? It's just too unimaginative to place one sentient species in one universe. If little ol' me can imagine life can exist across the cosmos, then I'm double sure that an omniscient architect of everything can too.

You are aware that the earth is made up of rocks and dust and debris from space? Some of the matter being extraterrestrial by scientific terms. Extraterrestrial doesnt have to be alive or intelligent. Say rocks with matter not normally found on earth is also extraterrestrial. So we do have proof and we are actually originally formed from it... science has given us knowledge on how earth was formed and evolution. Or do you not care because its not in the bible? Extraterrestrial has been proven its just the question of intelligence.

I could write a book right now about how I met aliens and then wait 100+ years and people will believe it is true, does not mean it's really true though. Also, the possibility that there are more life out there in space is bigger than a God existing. There only need to be another planet like the earth and Bam, living beings. It would be logical to assume that another kind of organism lives in the universe. Your god on the other hand, is completely illogical and has absolutely no evidence for his existence. It is spelled hypocrisy, you should know, considering how guilty of it you are.

Evidence exist. Just google ufo sightings.Then google god sightings....I bet you see more UFOs Thinking another life form exist makes more sense then a mystical magical being that only seemed to do anything hundreds of years ago according to a book that was written by over fifty different people, edited multiple times and an original copy does not exist....

So if someone is atheist, then they would believe that humans (and other life) simply happened by chance. We started out as single called organisms and over a ridiculous amount of time we evolved. Having that belief, you would have to acknowledge that there is some [u]chance[/u] of life. Meaning that some number like (1,000,000,000,000,000,000 to 1) exists for life to be formed. With an infinite amount of space, comes an infinite amount of chances. Infinity "dwarfs" any ratio you can come up with because it doesn't end, so statistically, no matter what the ratio, given an infinite amount of chances, the ratio in question will occur. Looking at this, aliens are a statistical "fact" [spoiler][b][i][u]note the quotations[/u][/i][/b][/spoiler] I don't claim to know what they look like, or anything about them, but statistically speaking (for those who believe life was created by chance) aliens exist.

You have absolutely zero proof to back up your claim besides the Fermi paradox. Which is also an assumption as well and doesn't actually state aliens don't exist; It just gives you a reason as to why they possibly don't exist. So please refrain from acting all high and mighty.
