after the Wolves DLC I'm done
It's getting to the point now that there's no point to continue this fast cash game. If it's nothing yet another, grind grind grind fest then I'm out. Everyone here should have a moment or two and think about it " is this all I'm doing is playing a non story game with no purpose and do nothing but grind all day long?".
People that's how I stopped playing world of Warcraft , I'm just wait for this coming DLC and I'm done. I'm sorry I'm not going to sit on my couch and do the same thing for the next 10 years, sorry Bungie but your better than this.

4 通の返信Let's look at Destiny like this: Bungie's poster child for successful games is Halo, right? But the only DLC it got were maps. Call Of Duty got maps, game types, and the very rare new game modes. Battlefield got maps, and maybe game types? (I don't play Battlefield.) When looking at Destiny from a FPS perspective, and when compared to other better selling titles like it, you get more content with the DLC. Some may say that The Dark Below doesn't have a story, but it does. (Even if it is weak.) And with each DLC, you get more things to do that DIRECTLY tie into the already existing story. (Again, even if it is scattered and weak.) Some being these weak story missions, bounties, events like the iron banner/queens bounty, and with comet, PVE events in patrol. You can even compare this to Borderlands(because it's most like Destiny), and in its 10 plan, get more content out of its lifecycle. Sure you might have to pay more, but that because it will last longer and have more updates. When looking back, if you let yourself assume the trailers and videos about Destiny, pre-release, will reflect the final product, that's your fault. There is always risk with buying into a new product, title, IP, etc. What you saw in trailers about Destiny before release was solely about the first game and that's what you bought into. Now, after seeing the leaked content photo, and the official announcement of a 2nd Destiny game, you are actually paying for MORE than what you saw.(Ye'know, because, the trailers were about the base content in the [i]first[/i] game.) If you still feel that you are being ripped of or if Bungie is an evil company just trying to tell you lies, then you just have your head up your self-entitled ass. Also, even if the DLCs were part of the original game design, why does everyone assume that it's because they want more money? What if, now stay with me on this, they released these "cut-content-DLCs", the way they did, because they are using new servers and hardware? I mean, think about it. Almost ALL content is ran by their servers(that's why there isn't an offline mode to play), so wouldn't releasing ALL this content/planned-content at once be too risky? If they promised a working game to come out at a certain release date, and all this content fried their systems to the point of messing everything up, they could be in some REALLY deep financial and legal issues.

1 返信Looking forward to this next awful DLC I preordered, because I'm -blam!-ing stupid. Game will be completely dead to me afterward and anything with the name Bungie on it will be avoided like the plague. -blam!- you Bungie development, design, and anyone that supports your crooked asses.

Same here. I'm going to be reluctant as hell to pick up Comet. I will pick up Comet only if it has an excellent amount of content for its cost. If Bungie picks up its game, I will happily give them my fu[i]c[/i]kin money.

Yep I wish I hadn't purchased the expansion pass. Not even sure why it was called an expansion. But with the lack luster story, world, loot, and unrewarding loot system. There just isn't much holding me to Destiny anymore.

After this week, I'm done with destiny. Crota raid sucks. Bungie just watched us play and countered all of our tactics indtead of making a fair but harder raid. Im over 400 hours in and still no g horn. Im done. I have a life to live..... also, im not buying destiny 2 or another bungie product.

2 通の返信I think that's really the consensus of the forums. A lot of people fell for the "expansion" pass and regret it now, so we're just getting what we paid for and not paying for anything else

I wholeheartedly agree. I played the beta and preordered the Destiny special edition so I bought DB and HoW already. But if the game continues on its current path I'll be out after HoW. Sorry Bungie but after your (quite literally) industry changing success with the Halo franchise, the creativity, immersion, story, everything really, Destiny has been a true disappointment.

1 返信I bought the dlc and have quit already and won't bother with HOW even though it's paid for.. So over the grind and how nothing has actually been changed for the better. Had my fun but still enjoy the forums

amen to that brother. i predict that many will leave after they drop House of Wolves as well. i am NOT going to run on this hamster wheel any longer than that. this will be remembered as the game that RNGesus, Bungie and Activision screwed up

1 返信Normally I don't jump on any threads like this. But this wasn't a rant. I think I am in the same boat. My mind is not 100% made up yet. I believe most players that are frustrated about different aspects of the game feel the same. There are a million reasons given to leave. There are a million reasons given to stay. But it only takes one. IF I leave Destiny after HoW releases, it will be because I do not believe the scope of the game is enough. I love the idea of a 10 year plan. But we are talking about the fate of the "known universe", right? Sooooo, where is it? Where is the difference we are making? Bungie will need to really impress me. I believe they can, and I believe they plan on it. I truly hope they Will. I have some ideas that would help that. But only time will tell.

The lack of content and other big releases will be the reason of a big drop in activity. Look at the coming months: Dying Light, Evolve and Borderlands: Handsome Edition. Three games I'm looking forward to and are gonna take my time away from Destiny. Only gonna do weekly's and raids then. Screw the repetitive strikes and bounties... Even Iron Banner is the same the whole time. Bungie lacks creativity in the mission and leveldesign department...

4 通の返信To the people that says "why are you still playing". People I paid for the DLC pack since launch with my hard earned cash. It would be a waste of my money to just pay and then stop playing, No I'm going to finish the House of Whores and then I'm packing up this game and trading it in.

1 返信I haven't had to grind at all lately. I love it .....don't need my marks anymore so I buy my mats with them. I haven't done a daily in a month. I just do the nightfall, heroic, and then raid for the experience all week long. Only thing I have to grind for is glimmer once in a while.

The biggest thing I have a problem with is how it seems in certain cases that the game is split between three groups of people...the lvl 1-29 peeps, lvl 30-31 peeps, and the 32s. Its also a division between people who have IB and/or G-Horn. It bothers me because with the RNG the way it is, there is no way to determine skill as opposed to luck. If this doesn't change at least a little bit when HoW drops the I will probably move on as well.

Me as well. I still say the entire problem with this game is the level system. Way too few levels, way too big a penalty for playing 1 level under a mob. And way too much of a damage cap against lower level mobs. Should have been 100 or even better 500 levels. You could then release just a few specific raid weapons with each raid and some raid armor. It could be better gear, but your level would matter more so it would be slightly functional buy mostly cosmetic. People could grind levels in any manner they wanted thus making the game more fun for all player types.

They give us half a game and release dlc to slowly present the other half. For those who say this is the whole point of dlc, you don't know the old Bungie. The Bungie I used to know would have went balls in and given us a full Destiny from the start and then continued to push the limits with their dlc. So much would be changed. There would already be so much more and each dlc would just expand the already fruitful universe of Destiny. Instead of us waiting and waiting for dlc for more missions to grind, we'd be saying "Holy shit there's MORE???" I could go on, but I don't have time to explain why I don't even have time to explain. Destiny will be great, eventually. Bungie is just taking their -blam!-ing time.
