Which sniper do you prefer?
I'm curious as to what everybody prefers. Ice Breaker? Patience and Time? Or another one?

Icebreaker has so many uses it a hard weapon to not use. But I have been upswing Blackhammer a lot not so I can use my jellyhorn. And when it come to the raid the Blackhammer is better when you have ammo and you are killing something like a Swordbearer because it does more damage.

Look, I will always carry an Icebreaker, it's amazing, straight up. But Patience and Time is the workhorse of snipers. Moderate impact, almost perfect stability and fast fire rate. I can get off twelve shots in about the same time as even reasonably good Icebreaker users can get off 7-8. It usually ends up being more damage output too. Now for solar burns there's no contest. And it's the best thing ever for when you have juggler or you just can't safely get to the ammo packs (I doubt I will ever use a special synth again). Oh and I just love it for the daily story, just wow. So I'm glad I bought three so my characters are never without one, but it's got it's uses like any other weapon in this game. It was hardly gamebreaking to have Xur sell it.

2 通の返信I have two patience and times and one ice breaker. The ice breaker usually stays in my vault unless I need it for the nightfall. LDR 5001 is also a nice one. The base stats are solid and with the right perks it can be a beast. Icebreaker is nice to have sometimes, but not the end all be all of snipers.

PvE - Icebreaker of course, although my efrideets spear with field scout is an excelent replacement when I want to use gjallahorn. Still don't have black hammer yet :( PvP- Prudence when I want fire rate, LDR when I want to one shot Bladedancers and shoot through walls
