I believe that chemeoerapy and the various different medicines in the world are answers to the people's prayers. If we're ignoring the cure, what are we praying for? Miracles come in the form of different shapes and sizes be that a person or just death in general. It's life.
Doing chemo treatments doesn't solve a majority of cancers. You clearly have no medical knowledge or experience with cancers of any type or stage. So really this scenario has no basis of fact and therefore has no merit. Think before you post.
In addition, a person of religious morality doesn't evade logic. Many early scientific theories were developed by some of the most religious people of their day. Faith doesn't rule out logic, nor does logic eliminate faith. They are not uniquely separate and can co exist together and are oftentimes completely intertwined.
I do believe that this was a poorly developed troll post intended to boost your number of replies in order to create the next big trending topic by using religion to create controversy like the rash of recent religion/anti religion posts. And for that you get... Nothing.
The movement of natural healing can be very counter productive. As a person of faith, it would be illogical to deny medical intervention in cases where medical knowledge can save the life of the sick and as long as you feel that it does not jeopardize your morality it is perfect ally morally acceptable. God has given us the ability to reason which distinguishes us from all other animals. So logic is especially important when it comes to preservation of life.
Religion and science don't rule each other out. Believing in creation doesn't eliminate evolution and vice versa. At least not if you approach both topics intelligently.
You gotta define "god" when that's defined differently by different people.
Common sense.
As a Christian, I would pray to God and use the best medicine available.
God in the bible encourages his children to be wise in what they do, not ignorant.
What happens to the mother who complains that other mothers had their sons healed by God where they "worked" to heal their son. Not sure if troll or actual argument. Either way it's stupid.
Do people even utilize reading comprehension anymore, or do they just choose to reinterpret everything into their own twisted, intellectual matrix, and spit out crap?
Because that's what happened here....
I read your post. I see the analogy and even agree with it.
