Everyone seems to disagree. Fair enough. What r u guys opinion on Xur selling exotics that so many want. (Doesn't mean they're good, just the ones people want)

Do you guys think xur should sell exotic bounties, rather then the exotics themselves.

1 返信While I disagree with your primary post (the regen rate is slow enough that it isn't game breaking) I love the idea of Xur selling bounties for the exotics, if not every time then as a secondary option like the engram

Of course it won't. It's not op at all. It's just a good gun. Hell I have a blue sniper that hits harder (civilian applications). The regenerate ammo perk it great, but it can be a drawback as well in some boss fights. Stupid post is stupid. Gjallerhorn is the only op gun in the game for pve, and I doubt they'll nerf that either. Only pvp stuff gets nerfed, ever

3 通の返信The only weapon ever to receive negative balancing (hardly a Nerf) was the SUROS Regime, and they only mildly toned down the exotic perk to glass half full levels. The Vex Mythoclast, and universal remote have not been sold by Xur, and are the only other weapons to receive hard nerfs. So why does Xur selling a weapon mean it will be nerfed? [spoiler]It doesn't, you're just scared little babies that think big bad Bungie is going to take away your new toy[/spoiler]

The people who decide what is sold by Xûr probably also decide what should be nerfed etc so, why would they give out ice breaker, cheaper than TLW, which was 23 coins i think, then nerf it? I don't really understand the logic of it.

1 返信did everyone just buy a hat today that makes you more idiotic than normal. Xur has sold a ton of exotics over and over again and they have yet to be nerfed. Why would Icebreaker get nerfed? Because it's regenerating ammo? It takes 6 seconds just to get 1 shot and you start/spawn/respawn with 0 ammo available. You only get 6 shot at max. The damage? it's off put by the stability by a good amount you have to spend 1-2 seconds relocating and aiming at your target. In PVP this is a problem because the noise is shrill and annoying so someone is going to come looking for you and if you miss your shot chances are you are not going to find them again. Jesus -blam!-ing Christ can you people actually think for more than 3 seconds before shutting off your -blam!-ing brains.

I very much doubt it'll be nerfed. I can only realistically see weapons being nerfed (using past experiences) if they're o/p in PvP because that gives players with said gun a distinct advantage over those that don't. That goes against the 'level-playing field' that the Crucible was designed for. I can't see IB being used much in the Crucible as there as distinctly better snipers to choose from. Also, even if were o/p everyone now has it (or the option to buy it) and so that playing field would essentially be level anyway. It'll predominantly be used in PvE and I imagine it'll be a great help for Hard Raid. It'll reduce the requests for 'only want players with IB and Ghorn' and will stop those less fortunate being neglected from raid teams. Bungie knew what they doing and it's to benefit everyone
