xur spoils hardwork
Xur should stop selling exotics you should be only able to acquire exotics through hard work I.e raid,nightfall,good stats in pvp. Exotics should be achieved through doing something that's difficult. Xur should just sell upgrades for exotics. Nothing more. Bet you my ice breaker everyone will be rolling with it this week.
Xur is not the only problem what I'm saying is exotics should be rare. If you play pvp and get the most kills least deaths you should be rewarded. If you complete a raid u should be rewarded. If you do a nightfall have the most kills and revived alot of team members you should be rewarded. If you do a strike and not just wait at the beginning and have alot of kills you should be rewarded. Then you should be able to go to xur at weekends to spend your strange coins on upgrades for a weapon that you've earned. Not got through luck or purchased. That way exotics remain exotic.

2 通の返信I get why people post this..but ive been playing since beta days and unfortunately missed the chance to get buy icebreaker first time round..ive dropped so many duplicate exotic that ive raged before and just could never get the icebreaker so im happy he sold it

Yup leave exotics to RNG then like maybe 500 people would have the gally or the ib and there 10s of millions of people playing xur is fine and not everybody will afford icebreaker so calm down shut up and don't speak

1 返信All I did was play the game and collected coins to purchase the IB from Xur. Hard work paid off.

If there was a definite path to getting an exotic outside of bounties, then you may, just may, have a leg to stand on. Since everything boils down to RNG, you earn nothing in this game, you just play until you get lucky.

1 返信You obviously don't know the meaning of exotic, it's not meant to be an item that hardly anyone has. It's meant to just feel and look unique.

3 通の返信Well, looks like you lose your icebreaker and need to buy another one off xur because not only do i not use it. I've intentionally passed up buying it all 3x he's sold it and not because i didn't have the coins but because i just don't like the weapon. is overrated as shite and i have 0 use for it. It's shite in pvp as what you would want is high fire rate, high stability, low impact which is the exact opposite of icebreaker. in pve, it was better but still couldn't care less cause i have 3 black hammers which produce me equally infinite ammo without having to wait on it to regen. Juggler nightfalls ? so what, got 2 invective that produce the same effect (you can use invective to regen ammo for any special weapon). So no, I won't be taking icebreaker into anything this week but I will take your icebreaker off your hands just to put in the collection as the only 2 exotic weapons i am missing are icebreaker and jellyhorn.

Hard work? This is a game, it shouldn't feel like a chore! The fun part of this game is raiding. XUR gives easier access to exotics making raiding easier and more fun. This is the reason you are playing right? We are all burnt out form the grind. Most of us don't want to continue, Xur and IB gave us new hope.

As long as you don't think that other people are scrubs for buying from Xûr, then I agree that exotics should be more rare, but not in terms of RNG. There should be more ways like the bounties to truly "earn" your exotics.
