Icebreaker! >>Nerf coming here's why<<
Added video in edit 3 below further explaining in detail.
It will surely get nerfed now and why? Well:
1- it's just too good for Pvp. It's not like there's another sniper with higher stability or let's you see the radar while camping... I mean "sniping". Usually I "snipe" not too far from a special ammo crate but why run there and back to get most of your ammo when you can just keep "sniping" and just wait twelve years for your next round. O and having guardians explode is way useful. Only other perk that would be somewhat useful is gaining active camo while just standing there.
2- Having unlimited ammo for a boss fight is just god like. There is no other sniper that does that. What would be crazy is if it was a legendary then you could equip Ghallajhorn also. Now that would just be insane.
3- I "earned" my icebreaker damnit. It took me hours to down that level 12 Dreg for it to drop a legendary engram for it to turn into icebreaker by absolutely no luck at all.
In conclusion if they do nerf it then they should..... keep it exactly the same. It's not op and you didn't kill some level 100 dragon solo while getting butt -blam!-ed by a ninja turtle using only a banana to obtain it.
Edit: Yay 100 post. I have separated everyone into two groups. Those who understand my points and those who don't. One of them you don't want to be in >:)

1 返信For PvP there are waaaay better snipers. Patients ant time and praedyth's revenge are probably the top 2 on my PvP sniper list. Icebreaker just isn't that stable and you basically have to reset your whole shot if you don't get a headshot.

I like the sarcasm here. I kept getting my Icebreakers from VoG but I've been wanting Xur to sell it again so more people can enjoy one of my favorite exotics. (IB doesn't need to always get crit hits for its ammo.)

Not the stability or the range, this weapon having its unlimited value of ammo and also doubling for freebie ammo syn, just hits a bit to hard while also having Firefly perk. They don't need to break the gun but they'll probably nerf the damage a hair to make sure other snipers are more useful. This will be the case if or when he sell's Gjallahorn. Just have to accept the facts they all they do is just read is data. They did this to the Vex and Suros. What makes you think this will get a free pass? And yes I know those nerfs were for pvp but they impacted PvE quite a bit. They also do nerfs for PvE, while I believe those nerfs are not needed they want there content to last as long as possible to milk consumers for more money. Edit: I should have stated "IF" they nerf it. As we have no confirmed statements from Bungie on it.

You're right, it was actually a lvl 200 dragon and I couldn't have done it without my OP IB!!! Good thing I got it legit by buying it the FIRST time xur sold it then I bought the upgrade the FIRST time that was sold too. Only noobs but it now.
