Leaked Crotas End Hard Mode Glitch? You Decide
So here's what happened... My buddies and I no problem went through the raid. We arrived at that ol' bastard Crota and began destroying him. Going normal right? Well out of no where while we were lighting up the swordbearer, a gatekeeper came out of no where and killed like half our squad! I shit you not after he killed 3 of our men, he vanished into thin air as we were devastated by the oversoul... I instantly yelled xbox record on that shit as we all stood there confused as hell. Let me know what y'all think. Is hard mode going to have a gatekeeper at the end? Or do you think it was just a glitch. I'm planning on posting the clip to youtube soon and will be sure to edit and post the link..

After you clear the summoning crystal, the room directly above the crystal is where the gatekeeper hides. You can see him standing there before you run outside to fight crota. Also we glitched into a weight of darkness x20 in the lamp section as well. At weight 10 you look like you're sprinting past someone at 20, so be prepared for that to be included into hard as well. I actually made a post about hard mode ideas and theories long ago but it got lost space, wish I could bring find it for you to read

I think those gatekeepers are the thing you have to learn, I mean I think they have them to have you keep moving frantically, because there is no way in hell that you'd have to kill those along with dropping Crota's shield, could happen though.

1 返信It was most likely the Gatekeeper that sits on the top platform during Crota to prevent other players from going up there. He must have glitched down to you guys. You can see him if you go outside and look above the crystal room. Anyways... That sucks!

Th3Element05により編集済み: 1/15/2015 3:52:19 PMIf you jump up to the area above the room with the summoning crystal (you can't actually get there due to invisible wall), you can see a Gatekeeper laying in the corner like it's dead. I thought that was interesting since people are saying that they have had one spawn. Edit, you need to stand on the pointy crystal lamp things first in order to jump high enough to see.

Εφιάλτηςにより編集済み: 1/15/2015 3:50:34 PMFor awhile now groups have been trying to figure out why after you spawn crota and destroy the right and left mobs that 1 or 2 gatekeepers spawn on the 2nd level above the you. Is this the secret to a 3rd chest? If so how in crota hell do you get a sword up there fast enough? That is new though.. I have never heard one of the gatekeepers actually came down and fking people up. Maybe you did something different then most? You guys should go over every step.. try to see if anything was different or off. Also after you kill crota and jump to the 2nd level.. the gatekeeper or gatekeepers are dead. This really needs some looking into further

2 通の返信Hey man this also happened to me on Tuesday! He was immune to any damage aswell! When someone died from crota he de spawned! gt Dr Wanky Bottom. I too recorded it!

IMO it looks like one of the gatekeepers who spawn in the tower above you glitched out and fell down, similar to how Crota sometimes bugs and falls onto the floor. There are gatekeepers who spawn normally in the top level of the towers and stay there the whole fight on Normal. They are there to prevent cheesing.
