WTF is wrong with people when fighting atheon?
It's like people have turned into retards since Crota has arrived.
Just been in 2 Groups with people running around like headless chickens.
Extra people running through the potal to help out which isn't needed because I never even saw this happen until 2 or 3 weeks ago. If the 2 people without the relic can't handle the oracles you shouldn't be in the raid.
People constantly getting blown up outside from supplicants.
I picked the shield up once and the 2 people couldn't even get the third oracle down.
Americans/Canadians are the only ones I actually feel confident with completing the raids and I'm British.
Iv just done the Crota raid twice and only wiped like twice all the way through.

Here's what I've noticed the most with the noobs trying the raid. They're all at 30 and 31 with the vendor gear. They think that means that they can handle the 30 Hard Raid. Ummm...no. I am a 31 who breezes through the hard raid for the most part...That's only because I completed the normal raid as a 28 and 29 a bunch of times before ever attempting the hard raid. Learn to walk before you run. I can carry noobs through the normal raid (frustratingly usually), but taking a team of noobs through the hard raid is impossible regardless of their "level".

Lol you will be seeing that a lot looking to raid with new people on the forums. They think just because they reached level 31 the hard raid will be easy for them. When for new comers it isn't that easy. Of course with us hard raid vets we make it look easy and can run the whole raid with our eyes closed. I just raid with the same group every week saves the headache and a whole lot shxt load of time.

I, obviously with raid weapons(oracle disruptors) like to set a oracle pattern. I will kill first, they kill second, i kill third and so on, so we are never stuck reloading at the same time. Also, the relic holder has it easy. Drop your relic for a second and shoot at an oracle and pick it back up. Ive had to do this on hard lots, and its not too difficult.

There are a lot of people running the vault now that never ran it before, and unfortunately it seems as though many of them are too embarrassed or too arrogant to admit that it's all new to them. This is one of the problems that came with vendor gear reaching level 31. A lot of the people who never did the VoG are high enough level to do the hard version so they are simply skipping the normal version and don't understand the mechanics as well as they should; unlike those of us who had to grind the normal version in order to get gear for the hard version. Just another example of how Bungie's poor decisions with Destiny's loot cycle is still effecting us.

Yeah I've been trying to figure this out as well. It's like everyone as you said are headless chickens that have never done VOG before. Hell one group I was in with all 30s someone said "I can't grab the relic, it's to much responsibility." I couldn't believe what I heard all I could think was "noob". The relic especially during the Atheon fight is the easiest role ever.

Because there is to many noobs running hard mode. Because they can. They also don't use fully upgraded weapons and cant kill oracles at all. You know your going to have problems when they say why am i being detained.

16 通の返信Lol, I couldn't agree more. People suck now. I think it has a lot to do with xmas noobs not having proper VoG raid weapons and idiot vets deleting their VoG raid weapons because 300 att... I see everyone running oracles with -blam!-ing Fatebringer, WHERE IS YOUR CORRECTIVE MEASURE NOOB!

Nothing is wrong with an extra person going into the portal to help out, I'd rather do this than to restart. Ive done the raid countless times and ive gone in to the portal either by choice or someone asked for help especially on hard. Outside is cake, 1 person can do this on hard or normal so if you can go inside and make the inside just a little easier i see no problems.

The biggest issue with the Oracles are people using guns that don't have Oracle disrupter AND they don't shoot the Oracles in order AND they don't shoot the same Oracle together. I am almost always on relic duty and calling out which oracle to shoot, but so many times people don't listen and they each shoot a different oracle and shoot them out of order. And yes, I use my super to take down an oracle while they shoot. Last two hardmode VoG attempts I gave up because people insisted on shooting Oracles with hand cannons and scout rifles, the two WORST weapons classes to use on Oracles. That, and some jackass always invites two or three of their L27/28 friends for the rest of us to drag along. Seriously, if you insist on using a primary weapon on Oracles, and you aren't going to use a weapon with an activated Oracle Disruptor perk, use a damned auto rifle and fire in bursts. And if you DO have a Vault weapon with an unactivated Oracle Disruptor perk, why? It's on the upgrade path well before any upgrade bubbles that need ascendant energy. Anyway, that's my two cents.

I know what you mean. I used to be able to pick up a group of randoms and friends from the tower and then proceed to beast atheon. Now I seem to be getting (sorry for saying this) a bunch of "fake" lvl 30's and 31's who have trashy weapons (people using eid's ally against oracles) and are constantly dying. I mean I am almost forced to go exclusively into raid groups now with my "a-team" friends.

2 words: Christmas Noobs They are all getting to that level to do the raids and they have no clue, I have carried like 3 guys though VoG and 1 through CE, loosen up, find you a group of guys that are your raid Crew if it bugs you too bad
