I couldn't disagree with this more. These weapons do require skill, and you can tell the difference between a novice user and someone with real skill. Which means that if someone is skilled with a hand cannon, they will be twice as deadly with a scout rifle or ar, or a fusion rifle. Your argument is therefore rendered invalid.
