In pve and pvp it's awesome as long as you don't expect the same time to kill as a handcannon or scout rifle you'll be happy with it. I use it in pvp sometimes and do pretty well with it. You need to find the perfect distance to be at. Hardlight is a beast when you strattle the border of mid to close range engagements I would say Hardlight is my second favorite gun after Thorn.. its really fun to use

At first there is heavy recoil, but once you upgrade it far enough, its accurate.

It's a fun little spitfire. Does well against weaker critterrs. But fired in bursts of 3-7 shots or so so it doesn't drift up too much, but the high stability can help with it somewhat.
