For the past couple of days I've been playing Destiny nearly nonstop trying to level up my newer alts in time to run the weekly for coins for when Xür comes to visit. I guess he expected me to text him back in the middle of Nightfalls and raids because he got really angry about me not giving him as much attention as Destiny, even though he's the one that got it for me (we used to play together until he got bored and deleted his profile).
I just found it pretty amusing, but also irritating, and went to play some CoDBO2 zombies instead (I'll see you tomorrow, Destiny). Do your partners get frustrated by your love affair with Destiny like mine does?
EDIT: These comments have been fun, everyoneee. I'm glad others are having to deal with this too (I'm not happy about the issue, just the feedback lol), but we don't really need this useless thread trending haha

2 通の返信My wife and I bought a second xbone and tv so we could play together. But you still have to find a balance, both parties need to be happy for a relationship to work out.

6 通の返信I have 2 kids, a full time job, and a wife. I've put in almost 500 hours of time in to this game. My wife.... also plays destiny, she's put in 300 plus hours. We are both happy, have a great marriage, still have plenty of time for alone time, still have plenty of time for kids and family. It IS possible. Granted, I don't get much sleep. However, I don't sleep much to begin with. So late nights on destiny are how I fill the majority of my time after the kids are in bed. My wife, right next to me playing too. Gaming has been good for our relationship. I used to do a lot of gaming without her in EA sports NHL. She did have issues with that because I did spend a lot of time on it and was always in the other room. So I brought her in to my world. Bought her a tv, ps4, and all the goodies. Now we are together, having fun, and kicking ass. She has two of three charachters that just need materials to be 32, has all the gear. My suggestion is if he also enjoys gaming, game with him. If not, just try to balance it respectfully, but realistically.

1 返信Trying to explain power leveling an alt to my girlfriend is like talking to a -blam!-ing wall. She constantly asks when I will be done playing Destiny and I always answer with "I don't know, things aren't finished yet." We've had the fight about games more times than I can count, and I don't mean to hurt her feeling or anything, but video games have been my passion for my entire life. It's my thing. She says it's a waste of time, but how can something you love ever be a waste of time to you? The other day I told her I've had this fight with other women and the games are still around and they aren't...she didn't take that too well.

5 通の返信Not a problem. My wife plays with me. She only has the one character so she just replays the nightfalls/weeklies with my other two with no rewards.

I just play with my husband. We did VOG yesterday with two friends and two people we didn't know and had a blast. We laughed and joked almost the whole time. The two guys were experienced and we were all newbies but we sure had fun. They had nothing else to do so didn't mind showing us the way.

12 通の返信I have to say the way you handled trolls and idiots alike was amazing. Your comebacks all came off perfectly, and I love how most are Destiny related- the one about babies staying out of the Darkness Zones because you can't babysit was gold. You are awesome. Keep doin what your doin. A+
